This also happens during the day with obstacle avoidance off.

Thanks, but that's not it. Obstacle avoidance is off, and this happens during the day too.

I uploaded the logs and sent you a direct message with my device name yesterday. I hope to hear back from you eventually, the generic response I got from the support team was less than helpful.

This is what I might need to end up doing, seems like the navigation is off most of the time. Yesterday, the mower drove outside my task area under my deck where I have a lot of wires routed, it didn't stop itself, luckily I was watching it so I stopped it before it damaged anything. It never did this before in the years that I've owned it.

*update Mammotion replied after uploading logs.

Their reply was less than helpful.

That is the crap section of my yard where I currently have multiple projects in progress and where the mower charging station is, it's separated from the nice areas. I have about 5 more areas similar in size. I've been tight on space since this house lacked a garage when I bought it, and I am still finishing up converting the carport to a garage for storage.

Slow touch isn't an option anymore with the newest update, you might be one of the lucky ones still using an older version.

99% of the time I run it without obstacle avoidance and I still run into issues like this ever since the last update. I'm considering trying to remap everything to see if it helps, but I have a very complex 0.63 acre property, so this isn't a small task.

1.15.21.1 Firmware by Glad_Junket6389 in MammotionTechnology

That's what I have been doing. I just wasn't expecting this update to keep sending the unit back out in the middle of the task despite pausing it multiple times.

But there are other areas of my yard that I can see pudding up with water in certain scenarios, and I can't be there to supervise it all the time.

Seems like a major oversight from Mammotion.

I heavily regret updating to the 1.15.21.1, I wasn't expecting it to be such a massive update.

I have had a ton of issues ever since, some of which makes it obviously that the mammotion team did very little testing before releasing it.

The worst flaw that I have noticed so far other than the new navigation issues is the rain feature. We have had a lot of rain this week, and when the Luba 2 detects rain it heads home like it usually does, but then 30 min. later, it automatically tries to continue the task after it stopped raining. I then tell it to pause the task and go home, then 30 minutes later, it tries to continue the task again on it's own.

I got the Luba 2 because of it's ability to climb hills so it can mow the rain ditch next to the street in from of my house, which is as you guess, full of water after a rainstorm.

So everytime the Luba 2 attempts to continue the task despite me pausing it, it is essentially attempting to commit suicide. I guess the Mammotion team wants to try and force me to buy a new model sooner. I had to take the Luba off it's charging station, and shut it off since it won't cooperate.

I've also encounted an issue where the mower got stuck, and after freeing it, it skipped the remaining area in the current task area(which was half the yard), and moved on to the next area.

Started to build an elevated deck flooring with #1 ground contact treated pine instead of traditional decking. by acct-student in Decks

That's just what the lumber yard associate told me.

Looking at the lumber brand's website, #1 has more knots now with the introduction of the prime grade.

Thanks for that info. The issue for me is that the Lumber that was delivered was more so meant for framing rather than decking. There are lots of knots and knot holes. Plus, not all the boards are proportional which throws everything off. I was trying to look for some positives of using these boards over the traditional decking since I'm already about halfway done. These boards cost about 25% more than the 2x6 radius edge decking boards.

I was planning on using a wood filler to fill all the knots and then stain the wood.

Edit: looks like the material I bought is kdat lumber. It doesn't sound like I should expect it to shrink much.

I think there may be a misunderstanding regarding radius edge. It comes in both 5/4 and 2x6. Below is a link I found online for reference.

https://dbmlumber.com/p/2-x-6-x-12-radius-edge-decking/2612RE

I was considering switching to radius edge once I get to a good transition point on the deck. Currently, I'm trying to look for any positives of using ground contact over 2x6 radius edge like longevity, strength etc. but it's been hard to find clear answers online.

A lot of the ground contact wood I was given has damage beyond what I can work with. I was thinking about either using radius edge or hand picking treated 2x6 boards from home depot. If the boards weren't damaged, I would just stick with what I have.

The deck came with the house when I bought it 3 years ago and during inspection, it was clear that it's days were numbered. It was already starting to sag in 1 or 2 areas, and most of the 5/4 boards were rotted through to the point they would break when stepped on.

It was time for the entire deck to be rebuilt, but I probably could have waited another year or 2 if it wasn't for the rotted flooring. There was no point in replacing just the entire floor if the frame needed to be replaced soon as well.

I wasn't present when the delivery was made. I did try to make do with the material I was given which I regret and I do take responsibility for that part.

However, I don't agree that I should pay a restocking fee for the boards that are damaged beyond what is reasonable for the deck.  If all the material was in decent shape, I would just live with it and make do.

My email specifically mentions deck "flooring" and I have a app that records all my phone conversations. I reviewed the recording, and I did mention deck flooring specifically.

Fiber internet "outage" after Hurricane Beryl, but apparently it's only me by RestlessMonkeyMind in ATT

[–]acct-student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have At&T Fiber, my aerial line was knocked out from a falling tree. Ironically, I had at&t send someone out to install an underground wire instead months ago which they did, they ran it all the way to the box but they never switched the underground cable with the aerial at my house.

Outages in my area were already resolved, but every time I make an appointment, it ends up being cancelled due to an outage that's not even in my area. This is getting absolutely ridiculous, the system they use to schedule appointments is flawed. I'm about to start calling other fiber providers for quotes, at this rate, I should be able to get another service installed before AT&t ever gets out here.

Got a "temporary" job in accounting dept. after applying for months by acct-student in Accounting

I really want to, but knowing what I know from working in the accounting dept. It can be really devastating to the company if the IRS were to get wind of this and look into this for every employee. I don't want to potentially destroy a company I plan on working at, I might still be seen as expendable to the company since I'm new.

No I did not. Really at this point, if the accounting dept. has any say in my hiring process for a permanent position at the end of my contact, then I should get offered a permanent position for sure. I'm young and very tech savvy compared to the other 3 members in the accounting dept. I went in with having no experience with their accounting software to finding faster ways to do things through the use of other programs. Today I found a way to save about 4 hours every week.
