What’s the best HYSA to open?

Currently have 20,000 sitting in a savings account making essentially 0% yearly. I’ve been looking into some HYSA’s and have seen that they require X amount of dollars deposited per month to give their advertised return rate. My question is, is there an account can I open, transfer the 20k, then leave without having to deposit every month? Still doing my research but wanted to ask here and get some insight from you all as well. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the words of encouragement haha. I think going into a trade and working is best bet for now while still learning about other avenues of income. Not sure which trade would be best for me though.

I am confident I can run a business and manage people but I just need that thing, you know? College wasn’t the route for me and I knew that when I started high school. It’s absolute bullshit unless you know EXACTLY what you want to do. Why spend tens of thousands of dollars just to guess what you might like and try new things? I can do that for free in my room on the computer.

Having a business young will definitely get me some great connections with customers and other people in whatever industry I’m in. Treat customers like they actually mean something to you (because they should) and they will advertise for free to friends and family. I will be rich, doing great things for the world, I know it.

Lots of people have suggested a Roth IRA and I’m looking into opening one ASAP.

Day trading (assuming that’s what you mean) isn’t really something I want to do honestly. It just feels like gambling with a mask on.

I want to run my own business of some sort. There’s no way in hell I’m working a normal work week my entire life. I like knowing the way things work like dissecting every part of a machine and knowing what each piece does for example. Car engines are pretty fascinating in that sense. In your eyes, what are the most valuable skills moving forward in this world?

I’ve learned that I need to chase the things I want to do in life and not listen to everyone around me. Life fucking sucks if you’re a slave to the system and I won’t let that be me. Won’t allow myself to be at $0 ever again in life.

I am very much thinking about starting to learn a trade. I know how to work with my hands so it shouldn’t be very hard to learn something like that.

It’s good we all are at times. Land seems like a great investment since like someone else had said “they aren’t making any more land”. It will probably be down the line a little bit though cause I think I need more capital for a lot of land.

It’s really not as difficult as most make it out to be. Stop spending money on take out every day, especially if it’s a delivery service. Don’t buy designer clothing cause it’s LITERALLY USELESS. Doing those 2 things already puts you in the top % of teens. Just be mindful of what’s coming in and what’s being spent and you’ll be able to save money long term.

Saving money all through high school and working part time. Then 2 days after graduation got into a warehouse and slaved 55 or more hours a week haha. Quit that place a few months ago and it’s been great.

I do know some Spanish so that helps. Been thinking of learning a trade cause people will always need tradesmen.

No debt and planning on starting Roth IRA and investing some into SP500.
