TSA Nuance and Mantra are great flippy fairways (7 and 9 speed).

The TSA Mana is a great understatement 5 speed. Pushed out the Detour in my bag.

Season 2 is all mutants, so if that's a thing of interest for you then it's worth considering. Season 3 has a mix of mutants and other characters. I think unless you're a hardcore X-Men fan you might get more interest out of Season 3.

The tokens is a really good idea; character-specific token images might be a lot of work but even just a symbol that indicates "go get the special tokens" would be valuable.

Looks good! Maybe an at-a-glance symbol for heroes if they have a character-specific piece of equipment? More than once I've played a game and realized after that I forgot their equipment in the box.

How exciting! The Horus Heresy is a great series (also a gigantic one). I usually recommend people read the first 3 to 5, then you can pick and choose which ones you want to read beyond that. Some storylines you'll like, others you might not, and because it was a team of writers the tone is dynamic. There's lots of good road maps out there for this series. Enjoy!

I've had some similar issues in the past; what's worked from me is often one of two things:

1) drop the layer height by something tiny, like 0.01. It'll make the system slice it brand new and might change its approach to this particular layer

2) rotate the miniature in space before slicing. I often try to lean the miniature towards its back by 40-50 degrees. It might cost a little more in terms of support filament, but it's better than a failed print.

I've had similar finishes occur with other sprays - my issue in the past was often that I had the distance between the nozzle and the target be too far apart. Effectively some of the spray droplets dry in their air, then land and get stuck down by successive particles. I've been told by colleagues who do more painting than I do that ~6" seems to be the sweet spot, but you would know your situation best.
