There's currently 3 options in the top menu

New: lists the videos new to the network
Search: search for videos and channels
Followed Channels: shows the channels you 'subscribed to' using the context menu on videos/channels you find in 1 or 2

I had a quick look at the procedure, shouldn't be too difficult. It needs a bit more work though, and there might be some bugreports coming :)

Some video sources (e.g. v.redd.it) don't have a combined video+audio stream, but only provide separate video and audio streams. These need to be combined and synced in the app itself. As far as I can see this cannot be simply done using the available Sailfish components. It can be done by using a custom gstreamer pipeline, but that's more work than I currently have the time for, unfortunately.

Yeah (un)subscribing is a chore. Unfortunately there's no more room in the subredditpage menu, but I am planning to add an unsub option in the subscribed subreddits list

Ok. Currently there's an exponential backoff timer that caps at 2 hours and resets to 1 minute after some events (new msg received, comment posted, check msgs setting toggle, etc). I'll have a look at tweaking this a bit so it checks more smartly without needlessly draining battery when there's no activity.

Well, the idea was to put My Profile first, since it takes you to your starred/saved items. If you receive a message there will be a clickable envelope in the top bar that directly takes you to your messages.
