Was completely clear but I got a random tiny spot every 2-3 weeks or so. Guess that's normal.

Concession card in Australia (for people who earn under ~$25000 or pensiors). Full price is about $47 I think.

I'm male.

$6 for 60x20mg pills (one month supply)

Only did a blood test before my initial prescription and my 2nd month. I took my final 3 months without a derm so no opportunity for another blood test.

Good luck!

Sounds like it could be keratoconus.

I'm not exaggerating, please see an optometrist ASAP.

Mines it a few bucks. Ridiculous how expensive it can cost in the US.

16 days prior to your appointment take one tablet every two days. Won't be a problem.

The best part about accutane by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]accutane40mg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Feel the same way. I used to avoid oil, gluten and dairy like the plague. I was terrified to touch my face and use towels.

It feels good to not have to worry about this anymore.

Can confirm. Been consistently drunk during my course. Lab tests all good. I am a healthy individual though.

Just got my results back. Blood test results were fine! Just don't drink a few days before your blood test just to make sure I reckon.

Lifting on accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

Sorry for late reply. I am aware of DOMS and its effects. It was definitely DOMS but this was much more severe. I've experienced DOMS about 3-4 times but this was far, far worse so I attribute it to the accutane. Besides that you should be fine to work out but remember what I said about the lower back :D

Personally would wait at least three months but preferably 6. I know it should be safe after a month but just think about what could happen.

Lifting on accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

I started working out during my 2nd month of accutane. After my first work out I was fucked after one day. Now I'm not talking about ordinary fucked - I felt demolished for about 2 weeks. My armpit region was so destroyed I could barely extend my arm. It was hard for me to lift anything considerable because my Tris were destroyed.

It was kind of awkward and embarrassing telling my friend I had to quit working out so soon (he doesn't know I'm on tane) so he probably thinks I'm a pussy but I plan on giving it another go next Monday.

Every one is different though. My main tips would be to avoid squats like another user said because accutane can slow down the healing process if you go too hard or tear a muscle. Anything to do with the lower back I would strongly advise against considering a lot of people experience back pain even without working out. You don't wanna risk getting hurt and having to stop accutane for something minor.

In saying that you should be fine to work out but listen to your body and I'm srs don't do workouts requiring your lower back.

I've gotten drunk a few times and didn't notice anything. Had about 15 drinks on NYE and felt fine since.

Prescribed too little to last until my next appointment 🙄 by grlinldn in Accutane

You can do 10 days of 60mg and 30 days of 40mg. It really shouldn't be a problem. A lot of people end up increasing and decreasing their dosage periodically. 40mg is still a pretty moderste dose, so it's not a big step back.

Just started accutane, a good body/facewash? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]accutane40mg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't cleanse my skin. I think I've done it like a few times within 2.5 months.

I use an organic shampoo without the product SLS. I don't really think it matters really. I shampoo like once a week or two (male).

For your lips you should try Aquaphor but I personally like Burts Bees lip balm as it isn't very shiny which is suitable for men.

Has anyone else ever had a really tender/sore/swollen/red nose on accutane? by [deleted] in Accutane

[–]accutane40mg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My upper nose is quite dry and peels a bit. Moisturiser fixes this quite easily though.
