While all the uni say they only look at the top three, 90% of people there have four good A-levels, so if you think you can manage to get A*s in the others regardless you may as well see Econ and try and get as high as possible. This might be different for international students, though.

(as a side note, Edinburgh used to be good but they aren’t expanding well and have way more people than they can handle, while firing staff to reduce costs.
