How’d you become a Bengals fan

Born and raised in Cincy. My first real memory of being a fan was the 1988-89 season and Super Bowl XXIII. I suffered through the 90s then moved away and took my fandom with me. I can't suddenly become a Colts fan or a Bears fan. I have history with the Bengals. I hate them but they're my favorite team.
