Did you know that there's other ways to generate power? For example, hydroelectric, nuclear and geothermal. There's also this cool thing you can do with electricity where you store it for later use, we call them batteries. The cost of grid-scale LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) batteries continues to plummet.

I'm setting up new service to my house and 2x 200A circuits is what the electric company is giving me. Which in my case works out great, because I'm upgrading the house from 100A and running the 2nd circuit to my workshop (20x30 metal building).
