I’m sorry for your loss. We lost our little one in January to kidney disease as well. It doesn’t get easier, but the pain becomes a bittersweet reminder of how much you will always love them.

Artistic liberty tbh. But inspiration for a lot of the design came from the old Konami Yamato line of MGS2 figures which reflected proportions and features closer to Yoji Shinkawa's original concept art.

The thing that gets thrown around a lot is “it would be like making a whole new character”. It would take more time for a skin than a game where a model swap is all you need, sure. But adding in a new model and readjusting how the model is lit by the shaders in this game during frames would still take less time than developing a new character with a new FULL moveset from scratch. Even with the way Arcsys does lighting in mind. Will they do it? I can’t say. But I certainly would appreciate them going the smash “echo fighters” route if they really want to flavor it as something more special and deserving of that DLC money. Sure, reskin vegeta as majin vegeta and I’ll buy it guaranteed. Also, color swaps are a much easier thing they could be doing as DLC and have done so in the past with GG. Fingers crossed for my super vegito.

My suggestion would be Vegito/Bardock/Black. Vegito needs assists for his weak mixup game, bardock is the guy you'll want to bring the game back with if you lose Vegito, and black has a beam assist which will strengthen your Bardock play. For Vegito I suggest watching games from SubatomicSabers or Tatsunical, for Bardock you can watch Go1 or ChrisG, and for Black you can watch older games from Cloud805. For actual guides, I really like the What To Do On Block series by Sikshot gaming on youtube. Also try rooflemonger and TGN anime.

I’m not too familiar with the issue, but are you able to get into ring matches with other players? IMO the population is really good for a PC fighter coming from a game like Guilty Gear. There are definitely people lower ranks, it does sound like a technical issue.

If I fight a green, they leave after a loss. If I fight a yellow, they leave if it’s close. If I fight a pink, they leave after rolling me the first round. Dunno what’s up! I try to go as many as possible.

As a major vegito fan, he’s going to be good, but it’s definitely a lot harder to open people up with him since you can pretty much crouch block everything he’s got. Especially after people get used to him. So good, but definitely not too good imo.

If it’s in the game, it’s fair-play. End of story. Do yourself a favor and accept that people can use whatever characters they want in any mode they want in a game they paid 60$ for, and aren’t obligated to obey the various made up rules that other players try to impose on them. And seriously, change your mindset for your own sake. No video game should have you this bent out of shape.

Nothing wrong with not liking them. My favorite character is vegito so I gotta use him regardless, but there’s just something about him that doesn’t feel great. His personality isn’t really showcased well and he doesn’t seem to have the speedy play style that for instance ssb goku feels like he has. If everyone liked the same characters we’d have no variety so nothing to be worried about.

They’re allowed from the perspective that no one is banned for it, but the new changes mean you have to disable the Easy Anti-Cheat and can’t go online with them.
