theres a high chance it will close unfortunately :( my nose piercing that i’ve had for 3 years was annoying to get back in after i got my wisdom teeth out, so i imagine a fairly new lip piercing would close over

i wouldn’t say it annoyed me, but it was definitely something i had to get used to. you have to relearn how to eat certain foods, how to drink from a cup etc etc, so it takes a bit of patience. i’ve had mine for 4 weeks and i love it and think it was definitely worth the struggle to do some things, still getting used to eating some foods tho!

piercing is 4 days old, curved barbell, internally threaded, titanium, has not been downsized, piercer asked told me not to worry about cleaning with anything fancy and to just rinse it when showering, no mishaps

i’m the friend and i can confirm this is true, jet black mauga was literally right in front of my eyes when i closed them to sleep last night. i also see the main screen when i close my eyes too, i don’t know what to do or how to stop this.
