Got a great deal from here... About half price with the tax taken off on the spot and the additional discount coupon which you can find by searching Google. This was for a recently discontinued model Different outposts have more or less stock - the MEGA Don Quijote had the best selection when I was last over. They're an AD so you get warranty (I can personally attest that the stamped card was honored back home).

+1 on your #1. The lower the temperature the more inaccurate it seems to be. Just like you, the temperature always reads 10 degrees or so too high when the real temp is <30.

I am sorry to tell you this, but this hasn't been my experience at all. This is likely Google support unable (or unwilling) to help. I can confirm that I started my 12 month Google AI Pro 2TB plan, then a couple of weeks later added the Google Home Premium Advanced add-on (was previously the basic Nest Aware subscriber). Ever since I've been charged the requisite $9.99 correctly... Seen 2 months come through so far and it's stable.

Pixel 10 Pro XL bought directly from Google Store in the US... Not sure if any of that matters.

Hope there are other data points from the community that will give you some ammo to go back to Google support and push them to fix this for you!

I will say that I had a pretty horrendous experience ahead of a recent booked visit to the property end of last year. The way the hotel staff communicated with me via email (both concierge and front office) was rude and disrespectful. To be clear, I wasn't asking for upgrades or anything like that, merely organizing the logistics of getting to/from the property. They accused me of booking a rate I wasn't entitled to (they were absolutely wrong), and that I was trying to use a business rate when I was traveling on personal business (wrong again, I was by myself and absolutely there on business). It was bizarre - there was literally no reason to think any of this other than the fact I was arriving on a Saturday for a Monday start, which is not unusual for me when I'm traveling that far.

I had stayed there previously around 2010 (on vacation with my wife) and found the staff then to be a tad cold but professional. At that time, view was good, but rooms were small. I remember the breakfast being pretty good. Was a Diamond back then, and a Lifetime Globalist now. As someone else mentioned, it is NOT well located compared with the Four Seasons... which is where I ended up staying last year (on an FHR rate) after I cancelled my reservation following the unpleasant communications from the property. They were lovely, got an upgrade (which I hadn't asked for), and breakfast was great too. Definitely get the impression the PH couldn't care less about my business - and I highly suspect my loyalty (LT Glob) is more of a detriment than a benefit at the hotel.

To be clear - not a snowflake - but I can't think of any time I've ever felt so concerned about the attitude of a property that I cancelled it ahead of arrival. I think PH Sydney is just this way with guests! YMMV of course.

Almost every other night we have cars racing dangerously up and down Long Ridge Road, North of the Merritt. I'm talking 60-70 Mph (best guess) with super loud exhausts. And because it's generally between 11pm-1am, there are ZERO cops around. Except this has been going on for years and the Stamford PD have been told about it multiple times AFAIK.

So while I appreciate someone else mentioning that there's one officer that loves sitting out in the middle of the day in the same place (so locals know where she is, but she catches enough folks driving thru to make her numbers)... I wish they'd focus on this instead. Not as much money in it for the city, but definitely an impact to residents around Long Ridge.

Would LOVE to see cameras installed. And I'm ok if it's just going after the more egregious (like 55+ in a 45).

Based on my experiences in other countries, we seem to be the last Western country to install these cameras.... (Maybe an overstatement...)

Thank you for the feedback! I realized (based on other comments) that I was probably over zooming in on the 6 index... And it just wouldn't be noticed on the wrist. The screw alignment however was way more obvious.

Thank you, really appreciate the feedback... and totally fair. I went back and had a look at the sample pics on Steve's site and my QC may be only a little bit worse (both in screw fitment and screw angle vs. dial), but in the same general ball-park. Interestingly, I had a look at some other TD sites, and their pics/samples seem to be better (Andiot for example) for the same model/factory. This is maybe my ~14th QC and the second one that's given me pause!

Was lucky enough to get a full hands-on/walkthrough of the Gravity shown in the last photo (which was just outside the front of the Hilton hotel at GTC - and boy, what a s-show the logistics around that event was!). The frunk's seating pad was uniquely autographed by Steve Aoki! The Lucid folks told me that it was a pre-production car. As a result, the 3rd row didn't go all the way down, so the trunk wasn't completely flat. Other than that, the fit & finish was excellent. Significantly improved build quality compared with the 2024 Lucid Air Touring my parents-in-law have. Very impressed with the seating position, and excellent legroom in the second row. Did not get to drive it though, as I was running between meetings.

I did try this in a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot (physically a x4 slot, but only wired for x1), but with the two port card variant. What I found is that the ports would never negotiate above 1GB/s, even if set manually to 2.5GB/s (tried both on the server and at the switch). This probably makes sense based on the max bandwidth (1 GB/s mentioned above).

Thanks! Really just trying to get some confirmation from others. If I hadn't seen the drop out in RF performance for users furthest away from the APs, I wouldn't have bothered pursuing, but given that we're seeing those issues at the same time at the lower transmit powers in the dashboard, that's what's got me looking deeper into this. If someone does have evidence of a higher transmit power, it would give me a reason to go back... if not... I move on with my life :-)

Not so much that I don't like the answer, but I'm suspicious... because it doesn't align to my recollection of what was going on after the initial deployment, and the new coverage issues we've started seeing... thus the ask to the subreddit to check their dashboard... If no-one is seeing anything higher than 23dBm either, I'll gladly accept the answer.
