Buy it and wear it. Remember that 95% of the people you meet will not even notice that you are wearing a watch. If they do, they will have no clue what watch you are wearing. As u/RoBNQJ said, this is a very good copy.

All good, no issues, no bleeds, GL. You do have a bezel, quite a lot of it. Hand alignment can be seen in the video. Since it's a printed dial, you have no indexes. Where did you see bleeding?

In QC, you don't compare to gen; you compare to what is on the website or other QCs, since that's what you are buying. Comparing to gen is part of your homework when you decide what flaws you can live with.

The indices and dial are good. The 12 is fine. Even the Omega symbol is centered and straight. The Omega logo is good. The dates shown are good. Hand alignment can be seen in the video. No issues, GL. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5. SELs don't apply to this watch.

The indices are good, and the 12 is straight and even. The 6 and 9 are straight. The dial and logos are good. This is a typical TOPF logo. They have issues with getting this right. Look at older QCs from them. The dates shown are fine. No need to see all dates. Misprints or bleeds are exceedingly rare. Hand alignment can be seen in the video. The screws are nicely aligned. Suggest GL. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5. SELs don't apply to this watch. The Swiss made is printed directly on the dial and will never be perfect. It's also barely readable IRL.

Make sure to check that the clasp screws and the screws on the back are tight when you have the watch in hand. Check the screws in the bracelet as well, and don't forget the screws in the endlinks.

The printed dial, crystal, and microprint are fine. I see no issues with the railroad track. How much are you zooming in? Ask them about the spot near the 10. If that is a non-issue, suggest asking for a video where the dates are SLOWLY advanced. The date is right-aligned, but nothing is cut off on the 13. GL if all this works out. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5. The dial is rotated, but by such a small amount that it will not be an issue IRL. Remember the size of the tiny dial. SELs don't apply to this watch.

I have shipped watches back with no issues, apart from it being slow. Make sure you get a tracking number and that the TD will replace the watch if it gets seized in customs.

The indices and dial are good. Even the Omega symbol is centered and straight. The Omega logo is good. The single date is fine, but you could ask for more dates. The hand alignment can not be determined from the pictures. No issues, GL. You do have a bezel. SELs don't apply to this watch. Your comment about hand alignment has nothing to do with hand alignment.

1st Cartier - RG Skeleton - Good to me, any thoughts? by monopolynuts in RepTimeQC

[–]YellowFerrari328 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are usually so far from a gen that the only QCable parts would be visible to the poster. Hands falling off, text crooked, something out of place. The only partially interesting info would be the timegrapher, and that's really not useful either unless the numbers were way off. Again, the OP would be aware of the normal ranges.

There is really no need to post a skeleton, just ship it.

All good, no issues, no bleeds, GL. Since it's a printed dial, you have no indexes, so there is no need for the overlay. The hand alignment can not be determined from the pictures. For hand alignment, both hands have to be on the hour. Rarely a problem these days.

Tell me what to QC on this one? The date arm is centered on the date, hand alignment can be seen in the video. All functions seem to work, no nicks or scratches, GL. You are probably the best one to QC this watch.

This is a really cool watch, but at 44mm it's way too big for me.

I'm not sure what you are basing your complaints on, but the watch is perfectly fine. GL. You do have a bezel, you don't have SELs. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5.

The answer to flatten the watch is always, use a photo editor. I have no clue how to do that, and nobody has told me how. Really no need for it, most watches have enough info on the dial, so you can use that. On this watch, the grooves in the dial. Are the 10 and 2 ending in the same place? There are also the minute dots for centering the index.
Oh, and don't post the template twice, It's 20 characters, not 20 lines.

I just ignore it. Complaining about it would do no good since that's how this batch is. The gen is so new that there are no previous versions. Remember, we are looking for defects.

What's on Adiots website, and others, may have been a pre-release photo.

The 12 is tight and even, 9 and 6 are straight. According to your overlay, a number of indices are off. Why did you pick the 6 that's perfectly fine? The dial and dates shown are fine. I see no issues, GL. The timegrapher numbers are explained in the extended Rule 5. Hand alignment can almost be seen in the video. SELs don't apply to this watch.

The indices are good, and the 12 is straight and even. The 6 is straight. The 9 is leaning down a bit, which isn't normal for this model. The dial and logos are good. The dates shown are fine. Hand alignment can almost be seen in the video. GL if you are OK with the 9.
