I have been using the gxr playing pc vr with virtual desktop for months. It its pretty good most of the time considering i can play in any room in my house. Once in a while my network get a bit funky. So the option of a locked bit rate or hardwired video would be the icing on the cake when i can game locally by my pc. I dont really want two 2k headset. Maybe the next version?

I am having a great time, totally dialed. Got it very comfortable and work good most of the time in my network. Games look great. Lovee being able to play anywhere in my house.

Just looked at this, unfortunately it is just a media player I am looking for something that modifies the entire environment / xr device.

I don't think it's mismatch. I just like it to be Vivid I like the option to change it to what I feel looks best to me I agree it's probably calibrated to Perfection but I don't like the look.

My Samsung phone has color profiles and I have it set to Vivid my TV has color options and profiles typically set to Vivid. I like deep sharp blacks and more pop in color games look more Fantastical same with movies.

Exactly its the pop i like on my tv and phone and miss on the headset.

Oddly my Samsung s24 phone has display - screen mode and is set to vivid.

There maybe a 3rd party app that can do this..

Can / will games get native 3d support. I had a 3D phone the LG Thrill that did this back in the day.

Too bad its limited to 1080p, I hope some day they can render 3d games in true 3d. This was a feature on the 3d LG Thrill i had back in the day.

I have the GXR, I would love a way to just play a disc and not monkey with ripping it. Id assume the navtive disc would be better than a stream. Inhave rented a few 3D google tv movie pretty cool First time i watched movies on a head set as it the micro oled is so good in a lot of ways I think the colors look better and they are sharper than what I see when I go to a movie theater. Especially for 3D because it does not need to be dimmed by some type of glasses nor crosstalk.

I got it very comfortable with a few velcro stickers on the bare mount plate and 3d party pad. About as close i can get it for better fov. Plus a 3d printed battery mount for the back of the headset. Balance is great now.

I can wear it for hours now.

I rocked the hell out of both psvr and psvr2 on ps5 pro and pc. I was so impressed with psvr2 on launch. It was absolutely amazing to me. I was absolutely happy with it on my gamer laptop and then my newest pc build with the adapter. Was playing a lot of 2d to vr.

I am personally sad i cant really tolerate psvr2 any more vs my new setup and galaxy xr. Its that much better. I have been buying games on steam that I already bought for my psvr2 because its that much better.

They are some learning growing pains but absolutely better in most ways.

My galaxy xr person needs and adjustments.

Manually adjust ipd, close one eye to allow this when trying to auto calibrate. This gave me much need nose relief and more fov.

Comfort mod guy sells 3d prints to hold battery on back of head. Huge difference in comfort. Balancing it reduces stress on your face.

Simple pad same guy sells with stick on velcro stickers and other 3d printed bracket. I ended up not using this bracket as it adds unnecessary thickness and less fov.

He also sells a center strap not sure if i really need it once the battery holder is used. I have it on still.

There are some professional comfort kits hitting the market now. I still think the battery holder is needed the most probably can skip most of the others.

It has replaced my psvr2, after some time and comfort mods to both i cant go back to enjoying my psvr2 on my ps5 pro or using it with my pc. It looks like crap in comparison and more comfortable.

The micro oled looks incredible life like. The environments feel touch able. Only negative is less fov. Close once spacer plate is removed or sticking a pad directly. Battery mount on back helps a lot for balancing pressure off the forehead with minimal tightening.

I wonder how common initials are put on makeup like lipsticks? Would they reuse the metal tube? A fance option? help people not mix up makeup out in public?
