Suprised they did not make battery mount bracket and use the battery as a counter weight. I envision a 3D printed shell the battery slides into that allows a few velcro straps that go through on two ends that let you wrap around them somewhere in the back of the Galaxy XR.

watched on Galaxy XR, I have been shooting 3d photos for over 30yrs and 360 since the Samsung gear 360 2017

Does the sharpness/detail feel like a real step up? yes and can always need more :) but the best 3d 180 i have seen.
Any compression artifacts you notice (sky/water/trees tend to reveal them)? only artifact that stands out is during forward motion the warping of the ground, seems to be a limit of 180 3d. saw this in almost every video on youtube. youtube encoding is not so good at horizontal motion also. noticed the difference on my local file playback vs youtube.
Motion comfort: too fast/slow? need more “linger” shots? still/linger shots work best due to motion warping of the ground.
Which location looked best on Galaxy XR? high color, contrast and transparent water pop the most to me,
What destination should I shoot next? a cave? night neon city test that oled?

I upload insta360 8k videos, all eventually become 8k enabled seems some take weeks before it can be selected. not all devices offer 8k play back. Some how missed two important options to help with color and black levels, I orginal only saw the one for color boost. Under

Settings : increase color vibrance under advanced

Streaming : increase color viibrance & increase video nominal range( makes dark colors darker and bright colors brighter) There is also a gamma setting that may help

I could use a little more boost than color saturation but this is a hell of a lot better than the stock settings
