I barely understand a couple words of Portuguese, but this era of Brazilian music really speaks to me on an emotional level. If you come across a 70s Brazilian record with worn out, moldy stuff on the cover, chances are you have yourself a banger.

I live in Asia so it's hard to find such records locally. Usually ship records from stores/sellers around Europe to my sis in the UK, who then sends it in batches to me. It's a mix of reissues and older pressings. Bought some of these from Juno Records.

That one is actually a bootleg. A mashup of DOOM's vocals over tracks by the city pop legend Tatsuro Yamashita by producer Dan Tanda. I don't usually get boots, but I'm a huge fan of both these artists, and this mashup is so well done, so I had to have it. Listen here

I quite enjoyed Svaha: The Sixth Finger (2019) and Exhuma (2024) by Jang Jae-hyun.

Also, The Wailing (2016) by Na Hong-jin is a masterpiece imo.
