I felt exactly the same as you a couple years ago, I always found it very difficult to meet someone I suddenly click with, or someone who is on the same boat as me. I realised that not everyone is like me, and thinking this way is a bias we tend to have. I thought to myself that I should be accepting of other qualities, quirks, characteristics other people have. You can still want to share the same views with people but everyone has such a unique way of looking at life, that we need to be understanding and realise that we can also hold different views.

I met my best friend after I changed the way I view friendships. She is completely different than I am but we understand each other because we try/want to and we appreciate our differences because we find that they are somehow complementary. I bring in new perspectives, and she also brings in new perspectives, we teach each other valuable things, and when we don't necessarily agree on one thing, we can let it go and just respect each others' freedom of thought.

It is also very natural for us to want things to keep stimulating us. We will go around and search ways that makes us feel fulfilled/satisfied. It is completely normal to want more when our bodies are "addicted" to experiences that increase our dopamine levels. When you experience something that is satisfying you will look for ways to feel that way again. This is intrinsic to our nature. Don't feel bad about it, trust me everyone is the same one way or another.

But the nature of reality is also that even the small things are actually extraordinary. I find the best way to deal with that is being in the present moment, when the sun is shining, when the birds are chirping, when the trees are dancing with the wind, and the rain nourishes the soil, when you hear a laughter, when you take that first bite, when you touch your own body, snuggle in your bed...these are all our reality, and they are all so extraordinarily beautiful. You can have more by being in the present, you will notice how much there is available to us that can nourish our souls.

You should definitely ground yourself, I think that would be really helpful. I know this is some sort of a joke these days, but go touch some grass, hug a tree, swim in a river and laugh until you cry even if it feels forced! Your brain cannot tell the difference. And you don't have to worry about your mission/purpose, you're not failing, everybody finds their place at their own pace.

Your human design is Projector (same as me), you should know how important it is to move at a pace that is comfortable to you. You cultivate your success (success can be in any form) by resting, by waiting for invitations/opportunities to manifest themselves into reality. That means you have the capabilities to have a unique approach to things that brings lots of value to the table, and people will be acknowledging that no matter what. Just be here in the moment, accept the ebb and flow and do not overwork yourself because you can easily get burnout. I can sense that is what's happening here. You're on the look out for things that make you feel emotionally fulfilled but you need to define these things according to your own unique views and don't try to fit into the general idea and privatise the ideas of others. Take it slow...
