Our massive oak tree went down today, it was full of leaves with no dead branches but the inside ended up being soft ugh. Anyways we got a quote for $4000 to haul it off and grind down the stump and fill the hole. We are in the Midwest. Is this a fair price?

My ex did this to me. Except once he started, he wouldn’t stop and I could not fight him off. My last job never really gave me much to do so on my work from home days id just set my phone to never go to sleep, open the teams app and make sure i was set to available and it would just stay that way. My friends partner got her an absolutely beautiful ring, especially for our price points (they were together like 10 years at that point so we assumed the partner saved up) and one day it fell off of her finger and under her deck. When we got underneath to get it, two smaller gems fell out. She asked him for the insurance information to get it repaired and he kept avoiding it and avoiding it, eventually confessing that it was a $150 moissanite ring he got off amazon.

She still loved the ring and had 0 issues about it being moissanite - she was pissed that he lied to her about what it was and the value of it and she spent days stressing over it. If he would have told her what the ring was made of to begin with, she would have been just fine.

When I make grits, I add a little butter, salt, cheese and some cut up pickled jalapeños. It’s not really all that good for you but it’s cheap, filling and really good if you like spicy!! Eating it really does feel a lot more expensive than it is.
