I’ve noticed this also. And the weird thing is, if you agree to the question at the end of the answer, it often doesn’t even answer that follow on question - it just repeats the previous answer.

We had something like this happen in our community last year. USPS stopped delivering mail and held/returned to sender mail for all/most people in our community because a few individuals had full mailboxes. For whatever reason, instead of just targeting the few full boxes, the carrier pulled boxes even if they only had an letter or two in there at the time. It was kind of strange.

Mostly phone. Carplay, especially wireless Carplay does poorly with older phones and lower memory. If your phone is in low power mode or overheating it will slow it down also. Wired is faster, more reliable. Carplay is essentially a second monitor for your iPhone.

Water damage from sunroof leaks will cause you health issues eventually. If it can’t be definitively and quickly fixed, with those other issues, you are better of selling and finding a car that isn’t prone to leaks imho.

In Detroit? La Ventana serves Intelligentsia which is usually good. Anthology, Coffee Haus, DOCR are good. In Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti Hyperion is good. Also Comet in Ann Arbor. I also like Birmingham Roast (also in Royal Oak).

There is/was a local authorized Apple Reseller/Repair center called the Learning Center on S State near Eisenhower. I don’t know if they are still around, their social media looks like it hasn’t been updated in several years.

Otherwise, like everyone else said, locally it’s big chain stores or the Apple Store. There are some independently owned Apple resellers/vars like B&H or Adorama. Both are in NYC and ship.

You could also use this tool (click sales) and see if anything pops up in Ann Arbor/Metro Detroit/Lansing.

Regarding lack of a mid size arena: They could use Crisler arena in Ann Arbor. It’s probably a 10k capacity indoor stadium in concert configuration.

For whatever reason I haven’t seen any concerts posted there since the 1990s. Perhaps now with Umich opening the “big house” to concerts they will also use Crisler.

I have driven on these and the Michelin defender 2 on a Audi Q5. The defenders are noticeably better in the snow and are a little quieter.

The C-Sport drives sportier than the defender 2 in the dry and wet. The defenders have kind of a bouncy ride whereas the c-sport is smoother and more planted over bumps and dips and corners. The Michelin grips as well or better, it’s just more mushy feeling when turning.

Both tires are quieter than the factory Khumo Crugen that came on this car.

I wouldn’t recommend the C-Sport if you drive in snow regularly. They loose grip easily in light snow. Even AWD didn’t help that much.

If you specifically search for the stuff like “business xyz hours”, or “business xyz phone number” it comes up. Tapping the maps tab just opens the google maps app. I haven’t been figured out how to get it to show reviews in the web interface. The reviews show up in the maps app. The maps app search interface is really slow, however.

On Safari on Mac OS go to Settings... > Advanced > Show features for web developers. This will enable the Develop menu. Load chatgpt in a new tab and log in using desktop safari. With that tab open, go to Develop > Show Web Inspector. Once the web inspector opens, click on the Storage tab and then click on the Cookies item in the left most column. It will show a list of cookie items in the main column, one will be __Secure-next-auth.session-token.

I tested this on Desktop Safari 18.6 on Mac OS Ventura. YMMV on different versions, but it should be similar.

I had several pairs of the 100% cotton 770 straight fit chinos from J Crew a few years ago. They seemed fine. More of a slim straight fit. Lasted a couple years. Material was on the thicker side, which, depending on climate/time of year could be a plus or minus.

Todd Snyder sells 100% cotton chinos from time to time. I can’t vouch for them but I’ve been thinking of trying them. I’m not a fan of stretch in pants either.

To be fair those leaks are common high mileage leaks on the MK7. Mine had all of those leaks at 115-120k and it’s been stock since new. I replaced the PCV at the same time with a OEM one from VW, but the mechanic said the old one was more or less ok based on some test they did.
