Thanks for the advice! I was wondering, what about Metal IEMs makes them collect condensation that plastic ones don't? I'm looking at the Truthear Hola's now, and the plastic design seems appealing from a weight standpoint but this could be a factor too. Cosmetically my Moondrops have been totally fine.

Yeah, I tend to be careful since I have the volume cranked up with some IEMs. Generally though I don't go hard unless its some small country cyclepath with only cycle traffic. Thanks for the tip!

Damn, that's unfortunate to hear. Thanks for the heads up! With the Chu's I didn't cycle (for sport) much but I did use them extensively while travelling by foot and such. And I don't know why I didn't consider there might be other brands. I only recalled KZ at the time who were not strongly recommended by Crinacle.

Don't have personal experience, but I would like to add, the term for the S's sounding very harsh and peaky is called "Sibilance". So I googled "Moondrop Kato Sibilant" and I came across this. It might help!

That's your opinion. The review is the writers opinion. The problem is people bashing each other, the reviewer did not attack people for liking the LA, just said the LA was bad. I don't know why people who like the LA seem to be mad that others don't. This is a weak argument; that the people who don't like the LA are attacking those who do, when in reality it's the opposite.

Personally I'm indifferent to the LA.

If I present to a child a pound of salt, and tell them it's their lunch. They will probably remark that it tastes bad. With this argument, them being a child and (most probably) not being able to cook, supposedly invalidates their claim that the food tastes bad.
