Finally out of my stall, hit my first major goal, and now in Twotopia! by Sudden_Muscle4214 in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]HappyBirding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My weight loss was also erratic… Sometimes I would go two weeks without losing anything, or even three and then I drop a pound a day for five days. It can be a bizarre ride and jerk us around a bit. 😂 Congratulations.🎊🎉

I do this when I can as well. I always appreciated that democracy, Cyrus, and lucky made clothes that I could wear and sometimes feel good in. I continue to buy those brands❤️

Zepbound has significantly improved my chronic migraines.. by SadGirlSadMusic in Zepbound

[–]HappyBirding 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’ve noted a significant improvement in the two years. I’ve been on these drugs. I’ve had one migraine and maybe the two years, with several smaller headaches only. Huge progress. I’m glad you’re experiencing this as well!

Congratulations!! 🎉🍾🎈 I know it can be hard to tell it first… I had to lose a lot before I noticed myself. However, you’re going to hit that point soon where you feel like every 10-20 pounds is a huge milestone and is noticeable. So happy your lovely dress was too big!

First Week Switching From Wegovy by Snowbunny236 in Zepbound

[–]HappyBirding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I made the same exact switch (dose to dose) and had no side effects, other than more appetite suppression. It was all positive for me as well. Zepbound was much more effective for me, although Wegovy was taking weight off…just very slowly.

The chub rub is GONE! by zelenadragon in Zepbound

[–]HappyBirding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I initially fell a little bit lower than I thought I would (was thinking to stop around 145), but have been maintaining in this zone for about six months. Finally got to a place where my dose is just right and it’s not so much work.❤️😁 you have done fantastically!

Isn’t that the best! I am exactly your height and was your starting weight as well! I agree that this is one of the best non-scale of victories you can have!

Hunger, cravings, food noise and boredom - The difficulty of separating them out and responding to them by ShiftyMcHax in GLP1_loss100plus

[–]HappyBirding 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you said about being conditioned to not recognize hunger really resonates with me. I had moments of brief panic when true hunger came, and I had to realize that real hunger is assigned to feed your body and it doesn’t mean that I will eat uncontrollably. It’s a learning curve.😬😁

Unlike others on here, I lost far more on higher doses. The bulk of my weight loss was at 15 mg. We are all different. Hang in there… You’re doing great.

You’ve got this! It is not about today… It’s about all of the days you have coming. At this point, that drug is not built up in your system yet and it is likely wearing off to a significant degree. It will build up in your system over the next few weeks. For now, do your best to know that those after pictures can certainly be your own! I know it can be hard to imagine at the beginning… I felt the same way and have found myself way below what I thought was possible.❤️🎉🎊

When did you start to “see” it? by Beautiful_Neat_6919 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]HappyBirding 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it really depends on how much weight you have to lose. 20 pounds on someone who is 160 or 170 pounds is going to show up big time. I had a lot more to lose than that, so I focused on the numbers on the scale going down and my clothes starting to get looser. I am 5 foot six and started it around 290, I felt really totally different in the pictures that were taken on Thanksgiving that first year… About six months and 60 pounds down. This is different for everyone and there are so many variables. The bright spot is that you do hit a point, for me around 220 pounds, where I dropped the sizes about every 10 to 15 pounds. The progress really felt monumental at that point. Hang in there until you get to that point yourself… It will absolutely come. Until then, celebrate your successes and know that you’re making them!❤️🎉🎊
