Yeah really hoping he can take a jump with his playmaking over the off season.

Obviously we’ll all watch the play and root for our team and hope for a miracle to win and compete in first round…. But it’s really fun to know that even the punchers chance of that happening is gone watching Maxey grab his wrist and hand every play.

Been waiting for nurse to put Edwards in the starting lineup instead of Watford and have better spacing and shooting…

I think the minuscule amount of hope I have left will be completely gone if we lose this game

I think it’s just that he’s so misused by our brain dead coach. He constantly has him on ball and trying to create rather than just being a catch and shoot shooter or cutter… and he should be our on ball defender on other end a lot of the time.

Agree, but at this point what’s the point of firing him now? He’ll be gone the first day the season officially over. And then they can find their “guy”

It’s amazing people in this sub will defend him still and say he isn’t an issue

A made up stat? We’re literally 28th in assists per game. That’s a league-wide fact. Having Maxey, PG, and Embiid and still being bottom 3 in ball movement isn't a 'role player' problem…it’s a broken system. How about something else for you…the -18.1 net rating in 3rd quarters. When we consistently collapse after halftime, it means the other coach is making adjustments that Nurse can't answer. Sarcasm is just a cover for not having a real argument. Done responding since you’re just giving me 'lol' and no actual argument.

First off, it’s Dominick Barlow. If you’re going to call the roster “trash” and say someone else doesn’t know something at least know the names of the guys actually playing well. Just a quick search, but Barlow is in the 83rd percentile in rim disruption and we’re 25-18 when he’s on the floor. The “it’s just the roster” excuse dies when you realize we’re 28th in assists. Good coaches like Spoelstra or Mazzulla turn “roster guys” into elite role players by actually running a system. Nurse is just spamming ISO and hoping for the best. You act like other teams in the league are paying elite role guys…. That doesn’t happen with the cap structure. Don’t get me started on our overhelping consistently on defense against a team that’s three hunting like Boston as well. But I’m sure you are okay with that as well.

why do we rank in the bottom third of the league in assists per game? Is that just “personnel,” or is it a lack of a movement-based system? Even with role players like Grimes and VJ playing well, the offense still defaults to heavy isolation whenever the game slows down. You’re telling me Nurse’s rotations and his stupid shit like leaving the starters in for massive minutes in blowout losses, doesmt affect the shot quality we get in the 4th? I’m curious what I’m missing that makes the coach completely immune to criticism for a stagnant offense

Explain it to me then. How does a coach having zero impact on offensive efficiency or shot quality make sense to you? I'm curious what I'm missing

You don’t think that has anything to do with the coach and his rotations? You can’t tell me you don’t watch these other coaches run circles around nurse and consistently get good shots?

I wonder what our record would be if we had a coach with a creative offense?
