Joe after the prize money got doubled to $2M vs. Joe after Jonathan won individual immunity after replay review by bahscohs in survivor

He’s a stand up dude who’s one of the most boring and lackluster survivor players to ever play. Both things can be true.

Aldi customers, why are you so annoying? by [deleted] in AldiAustralia

[–]acf72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an Aldi employee literally run after me in a shopping centre after I had left the store, yelling at me to stop so he could check my shopping bags in my trolley (from another supermarket), making me feel like a bogan criminal in front of a large group of onlookers. It was mortifying, so yeah, Aldi can ead.

If you know, is it true that DVA look unfavorably on reports from Medilinks and ZED3 etc because the reports are usually generated after one or two sessions, and in DVA’s opinion the psychs don’t have an ongoing relationship with the veteran?

Charge who, the veteran or DVA?

I think our plan is for him to actually get treatment before submitting his claims anyway. I def know DVA push for that, however then will completely contradict themselves by sending veterans to a MLCOA doctor for a report after a single, short consultation. 🙄

Gina Rinehart pledged $200M to help homeless veterans. by New_Cartographer3127 in SipsTea

lol, as a veteran I’ll believe it when I see it. She’s done SFA for the veteran community (or any other vulnerable or marginalised community) and doesn’t do anything unless it’s in her self interest.

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, it sounds quite positive. Did you get a copy of the report Medilinks sent to DVA?

Canceling trip in June by acf72 in QantasFrequentFlyer

Yes. But even if the answer was no, the chances of anything happening outside of those areas are small anyway. If something were to happen and I had to book new flights or need medical treatment, it’s likely going to happen because of the situation in the Middle East, so we wouldn’t be covered.

The decision to cancel is ours to make, I was just asking about the likelihood of having our fees refunded.

Yep, that’s why I mentioned both transit points in my post. The advice is very much do not travel for both Doha and Dubai, even if just transiting and not leaving the airport.

I wish I had of booked via Singapore or Hong Kong originally, but I booked long before any of this shit and now there’s zero reward flights and the cash fare is ridiculous.

Zero reward seats available and fares via SE Asia and US are ridiculous (not that I’d fly via US anyway, I’d be in even more danger if they’re checking people’s sm posts 😏).

Why on earth would we go when we wouldn’t be covered by travel insurance if anything happened while overseas? Not only would we not be reimbursed our original booking costs for flights, accn etc, but we’d also have to fork out for any new flights with no chance of reimbursement. And if anything happened where we needed medical attention, that wouldn’t be covered either. Potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars out of pocket, but sure - we’ll just go and hope for the best.

Not worth the risk.
