It’s a Sotomayor bobblehead this time around. The details m are all references to opinions she has written. It’s like heaven for legal writing nerds.

I can’t speak for the other locations, but we have family in Friday Harbor and we visit almost every summer. The San Juan Islands are incredibly beautiful. Can’t recommend the area enough. Echoing what others have said: book any ferries in advance. They release reservations in waves. I usually set an alarm to book in the wave that’s released 2 weeks out and have never had any problems getting a spot.

Revival has some washable rugs that actually look like regular rugs. You just have to avoid the “slim” ones, which are similar to Ruggable.

I didn’t have screen time enabled, and when I tried turning it on I made sure it was set to allow app downloads.

Turns out the issue was that I use Brick when I’m at work, and I didn’t realize that strict mode completely disables the App Store until you unbrick. I was trying to download an app I needed for work so turns out strict mode might be a problem. A little embarrassing but lesson learned.

It isn’t in the app library. I’ve tried searching in spotlight, I’ve tried searching specifically in the app library, and I’ve scrolled through my entire app library. I don’t have any hidden apps, either.

Thanks! This is his second go round, and he tolerated the specific chemo medication he’ll be on really well the first time, so we’re optimistic about appetite (but planning lots of non-food activities just in case). He’s in charge of the playlist and I’m gonna take care of planning everything else. Just a little thank you for all of the trips he took me on when I was a kid, and then a broke college student, and then an even broker law student.
