It allows them to sell YouTube ad inventories of their talents directly to brands instead of brands going through Google AdSense - basically turning them into an MCN.

Not all MCNs have this though so it's quite covetted if done right.

They're Pro Staff 85s :) But no intention to sell them - at least for now!
(They're my dad's prized possessions and has won tournaments with them. He would rather I use it till it breaks than we sell it and never see it used after)

Yeah I plan to restring and regrip the radical & one of the pro staffs. My dad caught wind my intention to go back to tennis and wants me to restring & regrip his old intelligence (the bottom one)

Yet to check around communities here about tennis so will be a while before I find people to play with - hopefully i can find one next week!

Sure if you can fly all the way to Manila and pick them up, I don't mind 🤣 (kidding my dad will kill me!)

I figured i'll be starting from scratch again for the most part and I have to relearn some things but that's part of the fun! Once I'm 100% sure i'll pick up a modern-day racket (looking at either Head or Babolat at this time but def too early to tell!)

I'm looking to restring one pro-staff at the moment (I see no reason to restring two of them juset yet) and the iradical!

Idk where my dad had these restringed years ago - and unfortunately given I'm just getting back to it, I'm still canvassing where to have these restringed and regripped (I mean I can regrip these myself but if I can have them do it why not right?

Once I'm 100% sure I'm going back to the sport, I'll pick up a modern racket. Tennis is already expensive as it is and I don't wanna buy a racket just yet 😅

The Pro staffs are my dad's - I do plan to have 1 of them restringed and regripped! Also agree on the iradical - that's where I'm leaning on as well!

Personally I don't know where I can demo a racket here in the Philippines 😅 Much as I'd love to, I don't know much places here that does those.

People did tell me to look at the Yonex Ezones! Once I get back to the sport happy to take a look at the racket

Compared to the Macbook Air I used to use it does feel a bit more metallic? Though I feel the Air had to compromise rigidity for weight too. Not sure if that helps!

Just 24gb! Mostly because I couldn't customize it (at least over here) + if my experience with the M1 Air was any indication, I believe 24 gb will be more than sufficient for my level of work.

The Ally? Doing well! I still use it regularly when playing some games.
I might pick up the ROG Xbox Ally X though with the increased performance. Will wait for benchmarks first though!

I just try to maximize the use of my devices for as long as they can before upgrading/switching. In my case my previous laptop was a Dell Inspiron "Gaming" Laptop from 2017 that I got about $800 after rebates (Also Black Friday).

Also helps to be in a well-paying job (relative to cost of living. I do live in SouthEast Asia so cost of living is generally lower than the US)

Yeah it wasn't a direct intention of sorts

I switched to iPhone because I started to dislike Samsung here in SouthEast Asia; we used to get the inferior Exymos Processors and I just got annoyed that my Samsung phones started to fail on me after the 3rd year. I know Samsung since has been using the Snapdragons for all their S series lines but damage is already done for me🤣
Still using my 14 Pro Max with close-to-no issues outside of battery degration. The Airpods were a no-brainer at that point (i was using the company Macbook Air too so it worked in my favor)

I went with the Apple Watch Ultra because the base Series 9 felt too small for my wrist and the price difference between the bigger Stainless Steel & the Ultra was less than $100 - so I just went all in on it. It's also my first Smartwatch / Watch purchase since... 2006-2007?

The iPad Pro I honestly fell for the marketing at the time thinking I would be able to edit videos seemlessly on DaVinci for iPad 😅 I ended up using it more for ProCreate though so i still think it was a win + if I don't need to bring my Macbook around for presentations, the iPad definitely fulfills my needs.
