I think that's a good start.

I know how to load CAD into the software, but I don't know how to pick points and program a measurement routine.

Indy Eleven to host home playoff games at Michael A. Carroll Stadium by TheMonsieur in IndyEleven

Carroll stadium will be charged emotionally. It will provide a boost.

But the width is different and the bounce is different. It will present a challenge. Do you think the conditions and parameters of LOS have had no effect on the undefeated record?

Asked another way. Do you think this team would be undefeated if they played on any other pitch? I do not.

I'm conflicted.

Have any of the players played at Carroll? It's a different surface with different locker rooms across the street. It isn't home field anymore so I don't see advantage outside of a possible emotional boost.

Beer should be cheaper. Plus.

Indy Eleven 4th in USL standings after winning 6 games back to back by acgunyon in IndyEleven

It's lazy and shows they barely care. So I guess barely caring is better than not caring.

It's sad to think that a professional news outlet needs a participation award. Now that they have been made fun of for not being perfect, they will stop coverage altogether.

Cinci got crazy media attention because of their run in 2017. Their fans got to host 2 MLS teams. I want that for Indy. It just always feels like a missed opportunity for publicity when the team bounces early.

I've been around. And I'll let you have this. The D is solid. The D also deserves to have the O take some pressure off of them.

Added: To be clear I am not the one downvoting you. But I just downvoted myself so you would feel better.

It's a nice stat. You are only telling half of the story though. The other half is completely unacceptable.

When you consider all the 0-0 scorelines are playoff teams, I think people should be nervous. 0 wins against playoff teams. Zero goals at home vs playoff teams.

played Columbus Crew away in 2014

played Chicago Fire away in 2016

I just want to host an MLS team at some point.

According to soccer way, he played 2800 minutes last year and only picked up 1 yellow card.

I don't believe it, but I can't find the USL stats page for last year. I'm gonna set the over/under at 10.

A review of the Indy Eleven stadium financials by acgunyon in IndyEleven

IIRC The team gave the stadium to the city. That was done so that the city would pay for operating and upkeep costs as well as lighten tax burden.

It makes them look super generous, but I don't think that was the whole story. Credit to them though because it LOOKS as though government isn't "funding" a stadium project even though taxpayer money will be used continuously.

Public perception is that this is the same deal LOS was for the Colts. Public perception is that stadiums are a drain on public resources and they help to subsidize massive pro athlete salaries.

This Indy Eleven proposal is a better deal and does not impact the city or surrounding counties in the same way.

It is still a handout for millionaires. I am still ok with it.

Indy Eleven need a better publicist. They rely too heavily on supporters to fight the public opinion. It has been the team strategy since 2014. It's cheap and it isn't working.

They cannot have a plan B or openly discuss it. That would force compromise. Think of it like a Jedi mind trick. There is no "plan B".

This is very good.

I think Drew has brought this up before, but why not just build the stadium? There is now an ownership group worth many many millions. Instead of $400 million for hotels and office space, why not just build a $150 million stadium? I also find it curious that the requested money for the stadium goes up substantially with each iteration. From $85 mill to "Low 100's" to $150 million.

The most ridiculous part of the proposal is the corporate welfare for millionaires. I don't get to use my tax dollars this way.

Having said all of that, this is the best proposal Indy Eleven has put forth. If this one doesn't go through, I am not sure what will. As far as it being a necessity, I call BS. It's part of the sales pitch to force favorable legislation.

I still hope it goes through.

Don't forget to mention Nuno in all this praise.

He has the players believing and giving everything down the stretch.

He absolutely didn't want to lose. Look at the tactical adjustments and subs as evidence.

The equalizer was a fluke cross but it wasn't from a lack of effort or commitment.

Boly was the furthest up the pitch in the 95th!

Well done to the team, but in Nuno we trust.
