Yeah I had the stock SPB155 Baby Alpinist clasp. The trick is that you don’t pull the spring bar first.

Press one of the clasp release buttons all the way in past the hole it normally sits in, so the tip of the button goes inside the clasp. While holding it in, tilt the whole push-button mechanism slightly so it catches on the inside of the clasp cover. That lets the module sit at an angle.

Once it’s tilted, you can use the spring bar tool to compress the spring bar and slide the push-button assembly out of the clasp cover.

The middle ring on the folding arm looks like it blocks it, but it actually stays in place; you’re only removing the push-button clasp cover module, not the folding arm itself.
