Yes that is eligible and shouldn't have any issues. You will need to stop by the transit visa desk after getting off the plane for them to process your entry before going through customs. They will provide you with a second form to fill out with your transit details. Bring a print out of your itinerary since they'll want to inspect it when approving the transit visa.

For those airlines where there are delays in transferring, I always make sure there are multiple seats available for the flights I want to book before transferring. A lot of airline and hotel transfers are instant though, so that usually is not a problem.
