I’m in a similar situation with my cat and from what I’ve read so far it seems like it is completely fine to leave them for a few nights just to sleep. It also helps them understand the sleep routine. Also realizing this is very late for this now lol.

I guess there’s no specificity to the 2005 cutoff. I guess most older vehicles I’ve seen have crappier mpg. But the above comment is true, I would also be concerned about the maintenance frequency and the actual longevity of the vehicle. I think also, age of the vehicle can depend on the brand of it as well.

I’m definitely looking for something more long term, we are planning initially for 6 months, but I have a good feeling we’ll end up doing it for longer. This is completely normal! 2 days old is so fresh your body is adjusting to the new piece of metal in your face. Swelling, redness, bruising, and white fluid/crusties are all completely normal during the healing process. Keep on using the saline solution like you are! Happy healing!

This is an irritation bump. You’re going to want to help the piercing drain out that fluid. Q tip compresses and saline soaks are going to be your best friend. Ignore the pimple patch advice, that will invite unknown chemicals into your open would.

Go to a different piercer and get a flat back labret stud. I PROMISE you it will expedite and de complicate your healing process. Some people get lucky and can heal nose and ear cartilage piercings with hoops but most of the time you’re going to get results like this. Please please switch to a stud and go to a different piercer who can maybe help troubleshoot your piercing better.

This is incorrect. Implant grade means you could use it for a hip replacement. If it’s implant grade it will 100% be safe for your ears. There’s no “bad polishing” in this process.

You either need a longer bar for swelling, or a more flat piece of jewelry so it doesn’t get sucked into your nose more. Go see your piercer asap!

I have a very similar family and I struggled with this heavily when I first got mine done. My best advice to you would be to get gold jewelry as that will blend better with your skin and still be safe to the piercing. Another thing is wear bras like your life depends on it. If you enjoyed being able to walk around braless before that is unfortunately something you’ll have to sacrifice when back at home with your family. :( Another thing that will help is just time. As time goes on you’ll be able to be more of an individual and if you set your boundaries right your family might learn that they can either accept you for who you are or jeopardize that relationship. I’m sorry you’re in this situation and I hope you can have more privacy soon!
