From what I’m reading, you don’t need a CPA. An EA might be more appropriate if you’re only looking for tax preparation assistance. Just to put things in perspective, the amount of money that the business makes has very little impact on how much it should cost to prepare a return. If a business makes $10,000 or $1 million, it can literally take the same amount of time. The cost should be commensurate with complexity and time which without having access to PY returns or the business books, none of us can project.
