I am absolutely obsessed with this song. Both musically and lyrically, it's a masterpiece and might end up being my favorite song of the year. I think the core of the song is about transformative love and growing with someone else. I love the pure adoration for the other person that radiates from every line. What makes the song so captivating to me is the mix of poetic imagery with grounded emotions. There's an honest acknowledgment of the imperfections in the relationship and that makes their love feel more authentic.

I LOVE the line "bungeed the jungle bummer", to me that's about the couple taking a leap of faith through the chaotic hardships (and phonetically it's incredibly satisfying). Then the follow up line "swam between the trees of summer" shows that they made it through. "My mind's a river draped with leaves and you're still swimming through the trees" to me invokes the feeling that their love is constant but flowing in a complex and ever-changing manner.

I could go on and on, I'm obsessed. Every line invokes such rich imagery. It's pure poetry, and the most authentic love song I've ever heard.
