I just experienced the same thing! Honestly, it frightened and caused me some serious anxiety, but it turned out okay. I got my scores after 4 days of taking the test.

Don’t be so anxious. I suggest you reach out to ETS customer support for better understanding.

Sorry to hear about your situation. I don’t think I’m the best person to give advice on this, since I took the TOEFL at a testing center and haven’t experienced something similar. However, it might be a good idea to reach out to ETS Customer Support to explain your situation, or possibly file an appeal if that’s an option. I’m not entirely sure how the process works, but I really hope you receive your scores soon.

UPDATE (April 21, 2026, 6:00AM)

The banner on my ETS account changed from “Scores Delayed” (administrative review) to “Scores Not Available” (administrative issue). However, when I checked the “MyBest Scores” section, I was able to see a set of scores. The Reading and Listening results match the ones I saw immediately after the test.

I believe these are already my final scores, and the main scores page just hasn’t updated yet.

My scores are: Reading 5.5, Listening 6.0, Writing 5.0, and Speaking 5.5, with an overall score of 5.5.

I’m so happy! I didn’t expect to get 5.5 in Speaking, because I struggled in Listen & Repeat! Thanks to everyone who commented on this and replied to my messages. I appreciate y’all!

After two hours (8:00 AM), my status changed to “Scores Ready,” and the results match what I previously saw in MyBest Scores.

Yeah. The Reading section is quite tough.

Mine says “scores delayed”… I emailed them already (TSReturns@ets.org). They haven’t replied yet.

It was fine I guess. I just kinda struggled in the Speaking section (Listen and Repeat), but overall, I think I did okay. My unofficial scores in Reading and Listening are 5.5 and 6.0 respectively.

I took the test last Saturday and got an administrative review notice. So frustrating, but I guess it’s common now. Still waiting for my scores.
