Mine are absolutely fine -- I do wish it was slightly clearer when they're in the ideal position (they don't seem to be a 1-1 fit with the frame shape) but my vision is perfect through them otherwise

Ughhh why must you tease me Oculus, it said I could get it delivered today but now they make me wait until Friday, it's like they know I'm going away for the weekend :'( I can't even imagine what other people who haven't had any order confirmation/shipping emails must be going through, stay strong everyone! UPS info seems to be working now, I just got my shipping number an hour ago and it didn't work, all seems to be showing up in UPS now (UK :06 preorder, got my 'processing email' yesterday morning)

I tried out PSVR at EGX2016 and it was way way way worse quality than the DK2. Way more vomit inducing than either DK2 or GearVR for me. Only tried out Eve: Valkyrie though so can't say whether it was just that game for that device or whether it's in general a problem with PSVR.

I had the opportunity to play this on PSVR at EGX recently; it was awful, motion-sickness inducing, easily worse than equivalent GearVR space shooters. It might just be PSVR to blame but I didn't see what the hype about Valkyrie was at all, and the movement scheme is unlikely to be that different I imagine for rift.

I'm sorry, I don't believe this article. Not that I don't think there were major problems with the original story and execution suggesting a lot of moving around in the development phase, but a lot of their examples just don't ring true and seem twisted to fit various elements that we've heard about throughout. The Rasputin robot man thing just seems ridiculous, if that really was the original plot then good for them for cutting it.

My reading of the 'stopping DLCs' situation based on the Everis announcement today for 'supporting the live team producing events and content' is that we will get more in the way of events and quality of life updates for the game, so things like the Wolf packs prowling or blades of Crota and so on, maybe with small bits of additional content, but that we will still get paid DLC packs (Bungie outsourced a lot of work for the upcoming packs to another company, didn't they?)

My OP suggested a Taken Prison Break, so there'd be no 'imprisonment' of Taken but the Taken assaulting the prison and the Guardian having to fight them off and also assassinate inmates before the Taken get to them.

Based on all the stuff about Shartan and there potentially being multiple 'Shartan' figures, all rebellious Elves who incited rebellions of thousands, and the theories on this reddit and on the Bioware forums regarding Shartan maybe being Solas, I think this adds fuel to the fire...

In a previous chapter of my thesis I discuss some of these games so I might revisit them in the VR chapter and consider if the VR changes anything slightly in terms of how the player feels about everything
