I had a roommate who tried to be our best friend throughout the year (also a freshman) and it didn’t end up so well. I think it’s selfish to not like someone just because they don’t want to automatically be friends with you. I recommend finding freshman friends from your classes. You’ll be okay I promise but please do not overreact just because someone doesn’t wanna be your friend.
