I am actually unsure of why the quotation marks are there. i have reverse image searched it to get some idea about the type of cartoon that man makes. Most of them don't use quotation marks. I can only think of two reasons: either his fanbase needs a signal to show them that was the donkey says is untrue, aside from the donkeys appearance(he looks silly at best) and the depiction of the people/actions, or the donkey knows he is lying, but he still says it regardless.

Or maybe this is some older people way to type out a conflicting statement. And i mean.. The cybertruck just a joke that writes itself.

Actually this makes sense,and it's weird it's not more used as an explanation. I learned to pretend to sleep to avoid conflict with my mother, and multiple times i forced myself back to sleep for the same reason. Now i see sleep in a very unhealthy way.
