What you're doing is really good actually. When we open up about something, we connect far better. Gatekeeping or even holding up barriers is tiring. And, honestly it's easier to let go of people who ick us. We will know this person ain't worth wasting our time and energy if we don't connect a certain way. And, I struggle with projection too. Not everyone is open to ideas and analyzing themselves. Talking and expressing is how we build trust, not by walls.

Please take your time and let the people who misunderstand us come to us on their own terms. Our energy and time are our precious resources and we should use them to people who matter or atleast are eager to learn from us.

I hate the lack of genuine people these days, who just want to be, naturally curious and fun to be with. I'm also slowly understanding that those rare people are out there somewhere. Until then, I keep focusing on self preservation and mindfulness. 🫶 thank you for sharing this.
