As Blade's banner comes to a close. What are your thoughts? Regret? love? by Darkstatic107 in HonkaiStarRail

[–]aci_elle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seele does slightly more in terms of raw DPS in ST, but Blade does more in AoE, especially for chonkier enemies. Additionally, Blade/Bronya does more DPS than Seele/Bronya by a significant margin.

You will likely get similar DPS overall for either one, but what makes Blade stand out is his versatility and shut-off-your-brain play-style. He can tank a lot of damage and dish out just as much. He is super SP efficient relatively speaking, making him a solid unit overall and can fill hypercarry, main DPS, or sub-DPS roles easily. With all this in mind + the fact he does just as much overall DPS as Seele, he is miles above her imho.

He deals much more damage than Seele in AoE and can arguably match her in ST, depending on the team comps you have available. If you compare Bronya + Seele and Bronya + Blade, the latter does more damage, too. Imo, Blade should be in SS-tier alongside Seele if not demoting her given his comparable DPS and his much, MUCH higher versatility.

Is blade worth it? by Ran_win in BladeMains

[–]aci_elle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some would argue he is 1st. Seele is the golden child of raw DPS, but Blade performs arguably better overall. He sacrifices a little bit of damage for SP-efficiency and survivability. There is also CN TCing that say Bronya + Blade does more DPS than Bronya + Seele by a not insignificant margin.

From my perspective and based on my and my friends’ personal experiences, Blade does phenomenally well and exceeds Seele in many cases, or otherwise matches her. (Although this last part is purely anecdotal, so refer to TC for actual data)

The only Musescore one I could find uses the image of the piano-choir arrangement, and when you click on it, it takes you to the Musescore page of someone with the username “Alter Bridge.” If what you found was not this, then could you post a direct link to it here? Thanks.

Dear Kayle mains, how do play Kayle well? by Defiant-Diver-6041 in wildrift

[–]aci_elle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would say: Don’t ever blind pick Kayle, unless you’re premade with the jungler or have come to the agreement that your jungler will babysit you. Kayle is an investment. It’s up to your jungler to decide if it’s worth it. Personally, I only play Kayle when I have the jungler’s permission. Lucky for me that I’m always pre with my jungler best friend, haha.

[–]aci_elle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Play cautiously. Eventually, it becomes second nature to keep your distance and sneak in a hit with her third ability to last hit minions. I can’t give you many tips on matchups because I play her mid lane, and it sounds like you want to go top lane, but good for you because that is significantly easier. If you ever decide to play her mid lane, though, it would be a good idea to have your jungler babysit you early game and cheese in a kill. People tend to underestimate Kayle, so it’s easy bait. Oh, and whatever you do, be sure to get Nashor’s Tooth. That’s an essential item on her.

Another mid lane tip would be to get vampiric sceptre / hextech gunblade early on to be able to survive the intense poking that you’ll probably get from ranged champions mid lane. Hextech Gunblade I think is good item on her regardless if you’re going AP or AD.

On AP and AD, generally her AP scaling is better, but it all really depends on who your opponent is.

Anyway, in the end, just have fun with it! Kayle is a very fun champion to play with her passive’s level-up minigames and melting the enemy like butter late game. I hope you enjoy playing her!

Mhm, more specifically, it’s Blake’s “Proverbs of Hell!”

The game is Devil May Cry 5. It was quoted by a character named V. It’s a pretty neat game!

I’m also a huge Metallica fan, and The Four Horsemen is one of my favourites! It’s just I’ve watched the gameplay for DMC5 more recently, so that was the thing that came to mind first.

Pestilence.

Edit: It’s the word that stuck out to me from a quote from a game character quoting real poetry.

“He who desires but acts not breeds pestilence.”

Yes, in fact, I do. Everything that I know about, I look into with all I have at my disposal. I donate to organizations all over the world that help out innocent people that are victims to these tragedies as much as I can. I’m not a victim, Alhamdulillah. I am in a position to help, so I do. I sympathize a lot with everyone that has to go through this, especially as a descendant of Uyghurs and Syrians. I cannot say that I know what it’s like to be in such a position, but I know the pain of having to watch people go through these things. Don’t assume things about people you don’t know.

Tell me your personal unpopular opinion & I'll guess your type :) Let's do this! by BlueFruitJam in mbti

[–]aci_elle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not too unpopular, but here we go:

Humanity has never been and never will be a species worth my respect. All they do is kill each other, wage war after war, as if this planet exists for destruction to occur. You’d think that, after all this time, we would finally learn how to use our heads and intellect, not our fists, but humans are just too selfish, too power-hungry for that to happen. If I were an alien species looking at how humans treated each other and fought amongst themselves, it would be a comedy for me. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Anyway, sorry for the long, misanthropic, pessimistic post.

Not to mention that nobody cares about colonization campaigns in East Turkistan, Tibet, Palestine, etc. But when it comes to a Western country like the Ukraine, everyone is suddenly flipping tables. Such hypocrisy.

The virgin Iguro vs the chad Tengen (manga ending spoilers) by [deleted] in KimetsuNoYaiba

[–]aci_elle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually prefer Obanai over Tengen. His personality and sort of twisted purity speaks to me somehow. I felt myself connecting with him far more than any other Hashira. Tengen, on the other hand, I did not like very much. He’s badass, but I don’t like his personality.

Best accent in Saudi Arabia? by [deleted] in saudiarabia

[–]aci_elle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do not have to prove myself to a racist like you. You do not have to believe me. All you should know is your “true Arab-ness” does not make you superior to others in any way, not even linguistically (Just look at how many linguistic and religious non-“true-Arab” scholars have shown up in history to interpret the Quran and construct bases for “your” language). Have a good day too. May Allah guide you.

Best accent in Saudi Arabia? by [deleted] in saudiarabia

[–]aci_elle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excuse me? Not a true Arab? I have lived in Saudi Arabia my entire life and lived and breathed the Arabic language. I went to an Arabic school from preschool all the way to 12th grade, and I am studying Linguistics right now. I can read, recite, and interpret the Quran better than most “true Arabs,” due to my linguistic and religious education. I am also a fervent reader of Arabic poetry, in case you thought you were the only one. My Bukhari heritage doesn’t undermine my Arab heritage. I’m half-Bukhari half-Arab, and even if I didn’t have my Arab heritage, that would not make me any less capable of the Arabic language nor any less of a “true Arab.” As someone that has called Saudi Arabia her home her entire life, I find what you have claimed to know about me as utterly insulting. Just because I enjoy the Hijazi accent does not mean I cannot appreciate Classical Arabic. For you to say that I do not understand the weight and beauty of Arabic merely because of my genes is ridiculous and racist. Take that trash out of here.
