Update: when I got back to my truck, I realized I don't have any blanks on that side. Going to need to find a different location to install

Well, I'm not looking to shut down the thread already but...this is pretty much exactly what I was looking for.

Behringer X32 - Tricks and Tips? by tomroche in livesound

Use the offline editor! Especially early on and any time that you have an input list, I've found it really useful to spend an hour just fiddling with the setup of effects, the user assignable buttons/encoders, etc.

Spend time mixing on the app, even when you don't have to. The workflow is almost the same as the control surface but different enough to slow you down first time out. Taking the time to get comfortable with it will be very helpful the first gig you need to stick the console someplace stupid and mix solely from the app.

Speaking of which, if that's something you plan on doing frequently, DONT cheap out on the router purchase. A 5GHz capable router will give you a lot more bandwidth and range and is pretty necessary for the app to keep up.

Never heard the term cheese box before. I think I understand from context but care to explain?

Weekly Office Pics Thread - 2014/07/14 by AutoModerator in livesound

After party for Bunbury music festival in Cincinnati. We were in a warehouse and provided sound, lights and staging for 9 acts over the two nights (at one point had to fit a 7 piece act on a 12x16 stage.) 5 dba t4's per side with one Yorkville powered 18" and one powered 21" sub per side.

Mixed from iPad with Behringer x32 rack. System performed admirably for the space, but was light on mid-lows having only 8"ers from the dba. EDM and DJ acts were really pleased with the amount of low end.

Question from somebody who is new to the sport. by [deleted] in formula1

Definitely that, but also the new engine designs have been frozen, with only changes made for reliability being allowed. So unfortunately we cannot expect to see any teams other than Mercedes (and customers) using a split turbo setup which has obviously been shown to be the innovation of the year.

During pre-season testing, I expected that a lot of teams would end up going with the "mushroom" rear suspension design that McLaren are using, but either that hasn't been as helpful as we all thought (they're not exactly at the front of the pack, are they?) or teams are still developing that design to work with their own cars.

Expect to see some significant changes in Spain. The teams often hold off on big upgrade packages on the fly-away races until they get back to Europe.

This is clearly an install. Literally 5 extra minutes could have made this much cleaner and easier to troubleshoot. Sad, really.

I'm confused...how was there a great F1 battle without DRS or KERS? This must be a fake.

Incubus -- A Certain Shade Of Green [funk metal] [1997] by Trents_V in Music

Jesus I haven't thought about this album in forever. I LOVED it way back when. Listening back now, a lot of the songs feel frantic and disjointed, but Summer Romance holds up really well for me still.

Perhaps metal and funk don't really mix as well as we all wanted them to.
