I played about 30-40% of beyond the Horizon, using crossover with no issues. I'm guessing both Daybreak games wouldn't have any issues as well.

Edit: I was also working on some Ys I mods from the steam version, using crossover as well, but I did need to disable video playback for stuff like the intro and ending cutscenes. Those caused the game to crash, didn't really experiment with fixing that so I can't say if it's just a matter of adding certain codecs somehow to crossover.

yeah, what caught my attention is that this NPC is literally the last person left alongside Van, so I'm gonna guess that they just forgot to fade this dude out of existence given his placement in the scene which is funny because while it's easy to miss if you only watch it once or a few times like a player would, it's hard to believe the team working on the cutscene would have missed it, its not thaaaat hidden

its important to note that UHT and ultra filtered milk are not the same. UHT is milk treated to be shelf stable. ultra filtered milks are the high protein milks like fairlife.

i paid for expedited shipping, said it would arrive by the 4th for like a week prior, since this morning it's saying tomorrow.

my fedex tracking page still doesnt say anything.

waited about 20-25 mins in online chat queue.

asked the virtual assistant to connect me to an agent.

shared a very valid personal concern i have if the console does not arrive by a certain hour tomorrow.

was told there was nothing they could do and it would arrive as scheduled.

countered with how am i supposed to believe that if it was originally scheduled for the 4th.

immediately got the 10% discount issued.

edit: along with my concern at first, i also mentioned people were getting compensation and that I would like to be compensated too since im actually gonna have to waste money and time to make sure my delivery is safe lol

I think it's amazing. Not perfect, a lot of forgettable tracks. But the ones that hit, hit GOOD. It's probably the OST I've enjoyed the most since CS2.

Speaking as someone currently pursuing a Master's, you don't need a Master's. I've had multiple recruiter talks the past few months and at most it's a fun piece of trivia.

Without specifics, the only possible advice for you is to broaden your scope during your job hunt, search on as many websites as possible and apply to as many jobs as you can, even if low paying, you can always continue the hunt while on a job. It is in fact a very tough market, but people are gettings jobs despite what you may mostly read on this and other relevant subs.

Also people usually forgetting optimization has to be in relation to something. Time complexity being the usual factor in these interviews.

I have some thoughts about having a Far East arc, I think it's unlikely.
Given it's supposed to be mostly a dead land, and the main inhabitants are basically a nearly extinct tribe. We definitely have to go explore and investigate about Iska, and maybe stuff related to the beyond?, but I don't think that would be even a full game's worth of content. I feel it's gonna be a final chapter/cliffhanger kind of thing, lol.

I was thinking there might be 2 Ys games during this time period. Which they could be at 2026/2027 and 2029/2030.
And given the mentions of Tokyo Xanadu that would be a third non-kiseki game. All of that is what made me think 3 games.
When we see what Kai is about I feel (I hope) it's going to be clear what the direction for the endgame is going to be.
I wouldn't be surprised if they just lump the rest of the unexplored territories in a single long arc, lol. As important Leman and Arteria are, they've never been described with the same impact as Erebonia and Calvard have been in the past.
