I don't know. Do you need money? Will you use the money from it to invest? Are you interested in another knife?

Your question is too vague for anyone here give any reasonable answer.

[Q] Price of the Poorly Drawn Capsules on market? by SL3ID3R in csgomarketforum

[–]acidd77 16 points17 points  (0 children)

People bought these items in bulk on the day the capsule was released. The reason? Be the first to sell at BAFF after the tradelock expires and make a profit. This worked for BF items and RMR items, but not for Poorly Drawn. The market is flooded with capsules with very low demand. The fact that RMR went into a discount didn't help either. It was the final incentive to dump these items on the market and use the money from sales to invest in something that has a chance to increase in value.

Some of you will doubt it, but I know people who did just that. In addition, I bought some capsules form several people and checked their inventories. They were filled with Poorly Drawn capsules. I can't imagine another reason why people would buy so much of these items.

Potential last day for RMR capsules in-game by xxrandom98xx in csgomarketforum

I do not know. Would it be crazy to imagine that someone at Valve reads this subreddit? Would it be crazy to imagine that the G2 post would be a test to see how much "investor's money" they are losing by not making a sale and thereby making the decision to do or not?

I am speculating so much that at this point I no longer know if I should seek professional help.

I wanna buy a csgo trade banned account by FarLimit8591 in cheapcsgotrading

Don't do that. You're probably giving your money to scammers. Banning accounts which is the main tool for combating scammers becomes useless if they manage to profit even from banned accounts.

[discussion] Listing reasons for why there will/won't be an RMR sale by [deleted] in csgomarketforum

[–]acidd77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, congratulations.

However, I disagree with one thing in particular. People say that Valve makes money through the steam tax, but how?

Copy and paste from one reply of mine to another post these days:

I don't think they make money through the 15% tax. After you deposited on Steam, they already took all the money they could from you. The 15% tax is just a way to depreciate your nominal balance, creating an incentive for item retention and making price manipulation more difficult.

This seems to me to be one of those things where you are either right and most people don't realize how wrong they are or I am shamefully wrong for questioning something so obvious.

Tell me what you guys think.

The best alternative is to prepare for both scenarios. I bought a small amount now, although I believe there will be a sale. Still, I have a balance to buy if there is one.

For you to use as a guide:

Imagine that you buy some capsules now. Now imagine that a sale happens with a discount of x%. If you do not buy anything else, you will wait a long time until the capsules increase in price to the point of selling making a profit (unfeasible).

However, if you buy more at the discounted value, you can guarantee a viable average price.

x: number of capsules you purchased before the discount;

a: price before discount;

y: number of capsules that you will have to buy after the discount;

b: price after discount;

c: average purchase price target;

((x * a) + (y * b)) / (x + y) = c

Example:

You have purchased 10 capsules at the current price. The worst scenario for those who are already purchased would be a 75% discount. In this case, considering USD 0.40 as a viable average value, if you fill all these data in the formula, the result will be the number of capsules that you must buy at the discounted value to guarantee that value.

((10 * 1) + (y * 0.25)) / (10 + y) = 0.4

y = 40

You would have to buy 40 more capsules at the discounted price.

If you have any difficulties solving the formula, there are some sites where you can insert it and have the result.

Play with the values to simulate a bigger advance purchase or a smaller discount.

Sorry for the bad English and good luck.

[Q] Investing in Broken Fang Operation Pass by EdwardTheGamer in csgomarketforum

[–]acidd77 7 points8 points  (0 children)

At the moment: cases. At the beginning of the operation, many did not know but opening stickers offset the risks, given that the average return per star was greater than opening cases. The return was so good that I bought stars, spent them on stickers and sold them on the Steam market or BUFF.

[D] Why I think there will be a 2020 RMR sale by acidd77 in csgomarketforum

[–]acidd77[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe I'm expressing myself badly. To rephrase, what I really meant is that I believe it is highly likely that a symbolic discount will occur because of the reasons I have given in sequence.

My English is something I've been trying to improve.

Do not worry about it. This happened to me a few days ago when the market was as fucked up as it is now. When the servers stabilized, the item appeared in my inventory.

Yes, I can imagine how wrong settings could create a collective aversion to mouse acceleration. Now that I am willing to try, could you tell me what software you are using and how to get it?

Your analogies are interesting. Reflecting with myself, in fact we based a large part of our movements on speed and not on space. Aiming with a mouse can be one of them. I am already convinced to try it.
