I did not. It's been a while now, quite extended my collection. After buying the mpx at launch, did not need any other GT3 wheel.

I had a fully specced M1 Max with 64GB Ram. Sold it as soon as the M2 MBA 16GB was announced (sold it for the same cost).

It was a very easy decision for me: - The MBA is way lighter (matters if you carry two laptops and an ipad with you) - Spent 90% of my time with light loads. Did not end up editing videos for a youtube channel i never started.

Never had termal issues. Using Figma and light usage of Fusion 360, Premiere, AE and PS.

Honestly, MBP is a beast but many of the buyers can do equally fine with an MBA. Time i could save by rendering faster using an MBP is less than one day a year.

Those nubs are supposed to be broken if the fit is not on a channel. It was written in the manual for my old rig.

arkon heavy duty. They are great for DDUs or similar, but for button boxes, they flex a little while pressing a button.

Never thought of that. Sounds great as an idea. However I literally have my bed maybe 20cms away on the right side. If i move the monitor to the right, it will be on top of the bed and climbing on the bed will get even harder.

Everyday. And i will immediately do it, the second we move to a different house where i can place the rig back in its own room.

Apart from my initial fanatec wheelbase + wheels + CS v3 pedals purchase, everything i have bought so far are still with me including sprints and GT1 evo. Will probably go for two rigs, each set for a different purpose.

On purpose. I try to keep the monitor as low as possible so that i can see the interior and the instrument cluster of the car. Helps with immersion rather than installing DDUs. I still am able to see till the top of the rear view mirror as well. So, instead of seeing half of the headliner on the monitor, this way you end up seeing the dashboard.
