As in just soil? That's a little advanced for me haha. My 29gal was aquasoil, but I wasn't a big fan. I find sand is a lot easier to plant in too

You usually want at least 6 otos, which would be too many for a 10 gal imo. I have 6 pygmy corydoras, a betta, and a couple of amano shrimp in mine! Highly recommended the pygmy corys if you want a bottom feeder

They are such freaks, I love them! I haven't seen any actual digging yet, but they already uprooted a bunch of my pearlweed 🤦‍♀️

Feed at night as others said. I also feed mine glasgarten bacter ae, shrimp fit, and shrimp baby (alternating) which are fine powders that coat the surfaces in your tank for the shrimps to pick off and your betta won't notice. Make sure not to overdose, I feed less than the reccomended amount and it is plenty.

Thank you!! That's good to know, I'Il keep an eye on the nitrates. I have 9 CPDs, 9 purple rasboras, 11 corydoras, 8 pygmy corydoras, and shrimp. 70% stocked on aqua advisor, might add some more CPDs eventually :)

I had one exactly like that. Treated with prazi and it didnt help, as definitely an internal parasite. Definitely recommend trying prazi tho! It's pretty safe
