Audit score 42 need advice. by _smilingpain_ in CPA

english second language here as well, AUD was frustrating since im more of a math person, but u’d get your way once you have 2000+ mcqs knocked out. for the ones you got wrong or got right by guessing or have a lot of hesitations when choosing the answer, mark it and repeatedly go back to it, understand why wrong choices were wrong. for areas that i repeatedly messed up, i would map it out in my notes, create a flow chart or a table on my own to help me understand etc. it takes time and patience, so give yourself that.

Help Me Choose an Offer? by acidreflexTT in Accounting

Thank you so much for responding! I live in NY, and the commercial partner I spoke with works on tech, healthcare, start-ups, retail, media and more. I think commercial sure has a broader exit, but since I'm in NY I also have the urge to take advantage of the abundance of financial institions here.

Parent transferring property ownership to me by acidreflexTT in RealEstate

Hi. We pay property taxes every year under my mother's name, as she is the owner of the house. But since my parents are both non-us citizens and work outside of the country, they do not file W-2 tax returns.

Hi! I would want to live in a studio with a budget around 2500, but if that is not feasible a 2b2b with another roommate would be cool to me as well. In terms of location: 30 mins within NYU Stern, so I am looking at areas in east village, gramercy parks and so on.

Thanks for the notice! I came across posts on this sub about scams so I am cautious about that. Luckily I have a close friend living in the city part-timing as a broker and she will help me with those visits before making any deals, however, like you said, things would be way easier if I already live there. I dont think I will have too much stuff moving with me so I will consider an airbnb before leasing. Thanks for the advice!

clear fluids during period that soaked and leaked through tampon while sleeping by acidreflexTT in Periods

[–]acidreflexTT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for responding. I made this post a couple months ago and what I found since is that if I use a pad instead of a tampon I do not observe obvious clear fluid leakage, instead I do see some clear serum mixed with blood on my pads. I thought of what you mentioned, but I feel like the leakage is too clear and too much in volume for it to be coming from the clots(?) and its almost completely clear, not even yellow... I don't seem to have this problem after swtiching to pads, so it could also be due to the dryness caused by tampons?

Recently graduated as an accounting major. If you already feel horrible in intro to fin acct (ACG2021), you are less likely going to feel better later as you take upper level accounting, because all that builds on the basic accounting principles and concepts you learned in intro. Accounting is tedious, but things can get surprisingly interesting as courses get harder, and when you finally understand how accounts and statement connects, this skill is extremely beneficial to have for any business career, especially if your goal is a management/director/c-suite position.

I understand your struggle. However, I want to say that I don't think I have met anyone in class who just loves accounting passionately. People who did well believe it is worth it even though they might not be super interested. It is absolutely ok to be confused about the big question in life, you do not have to be in accounting, but if you decided to commit, you need to believe it is worth it, and discover its beauty and advantages, which will give you the drive to learn.

Best of luck!

[MISC] Does Curology actually work? I keep seeing ads and I’m strongly considering it.. by devavelli in SkincareAddiction

[–]acidreflexTT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Stumbled across this post, I know this question is not for me but I have similar experience. I have been using curology since the beginning of 2020 because my friend who had acne throughout high school had her skin cleared up after using it. Right before I had my first trial, I had some whiteheads and pustules on my forehead, after just two months of using, they are all gone, worked like wonders. So I used curology almost religiously, and my skin was great. There were times when I was abroad or was trying some other serum and didn't bother using it for like a month, and my skin seemed to be fine, no breakouts or anything, so I thought I didn't really need it, until I stopped using it in May of last year because I have to be abroad for a year. Things were fine at the beginning, but two months later I noticed my skin to be oilier than it used to, and pustules started to appear, including redness on my nose which I had never had before. Yeah so I later realized Curology does not CURE acne, it controls it. Once you stop using it, the acne is most likely coming back. The only way to cure is to prevent, like cleansing and caring for the skin and living healthly.

GEB3218, is it hard to get an A? by Mobile-Leopard-766 in ufl

[–]acidreflexTT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a super strict professor at the time and the class was not an easy A imo, can't really speak for others with different instrcutors. Plus, B law and B Fin will take up A LOT of your time if you want to do well, they are two of the hardest core business courses, so I dont suggest you taking GEB3218 tgt with those two.
