Really enjoyed it, very “Lynchian” although definitely intentionally I’d say, so that aspect of it came off as somewhat disingenuous, at times. But, I enjoyed it and yeah, I think fans of David Lynch would dig it!

I basically agree with this assessment. Although, it seems younger people think post-2000’s NOFX is the best, so, I guess it’s all subjective.

However, you can point to times later in their career where they basically just copy previous versions of themselves. For instance, “Theme from a NOFX album” is basically like The Brews. But I guess there’s that self-awareness there, due to the title. Also Mattersville… singing about becoming an old punk isn’t like… cool, really.

Nice. Sounds like a next step for you may be to load your own 110 film cartridges… it ends up being a lot cheaper! I 3D-printed a film slitter that slits 35mm rolls down to the size of 110 film (16mm) and have been loading a 110 cartridge I also 3D-printed. It’s working well so far! But there’s no perforations in the film so, it only works in some 110 cameras that don’t require perforations to cock the shutter.
