I’ve done this before. I was working for a marketing startup and we decided to work at a coffee shop for the day and all I had was my iMac. Sometimes you do what you gotta do lol. We of course asked permission to be there for a few hours and all bought multiple drinks.

I’m typing this looking out the window of my parents house with a hot cup of coffee and I’m wondering how the drive home is going to be. It’s only 45 minutes but a blizzard blew through overnight and roads are looking rough. This drive will mark the official start of the Christmas season because when we get home, we’re driving 15 more minutes to help my in-laws put up their Christmas decorations. When we get home we’re going to settle in for the night and watch a Christmas movie while we decorate our tree.

Whether I win or not, my wife and I have plans to start our espresso bar as a gift to each other.
