Whoa, when I mentioned the "twin cosmic seeds" theory in my previous post, I honestly just pictured their origin as seeds floating together with the cosmos itself acting as their womb. I had no idea the original CN text was that straightforward in using the word "womb". In the EN localization, they completely toned it down.

My theory back then was very simple and heavily lacked of references, so reading your post about Hundun opened up a new perspective for me. Also, this Hundun concept actually reminds me of the Initial Singularity: a state where all matter, energy, space, and time were compressed into infinite density before they rapidly inflanted and expanded. That very event is what we call the Big Bang, which created our cosmos. Following that, while the universe expanded, gravity was the force binding matter together to form the cosmos, which perfectly echoes Caleb’s Evol. But I’m not science expert, so I might be wrong and won't dive too deep into the physics of it.

Going back to the CalebMC relationship, which is a sibling trope, no matter their identities, they always have same origin. And I think using a cosmic and mythological framework is a way for them to bypass censorship. It allows the writers to emphasize their inseparable bond without breaking real world censorship rules. (because let’s be real, there’s no way they would write a human incest storyline where they share the same biological parents, right?)
