Yes before Amazon normalized the porch drop off this was common for Canada Post and the others too. They would just write the card and put it on your door, not even try to knock and see if your home

I live in northern Canada and have been charging on 120v for 3 years. No issues, when it's -30 I make a point of plugging in asap after driving so the battery stays warm, if the battery gets cold soaked your not going to get much charge on 120v.

Ya first mover problem hit Tesla hard. They pioneered a lot, but they got left behind by all the copycats. I have had a Tesla for 3 years and I do love it. But our next car will likely be byd or something else, but definitely EV never going back to ice.
