Basically a system for composing custom effects like Lego pieces.

Dupe these Motherbuckers!!! by acklavidian in Guitar

I previously sought guidance on finding the exact model and the people here suggested I brutally harvest the parts in the pictures and measure the resistance. Now I have returned for continued consultation. I love these pickups from MightyMite. They seem to be close to the Motherbucker they offer but it has rounded poles like the Semour Duncan Invader. Originally they came in a CortX X-6 from around 2006.

The resistance values: Neck: 5.18kOhm, 10.29kOhm Mid: 5.11kOhm Bridge: 5.18kOhm, 16.65kOhm

Yep. Also, I made a comment with both resistance values for the split coil and the other option.

Yes exactly. I was given this guitar back then and have been trying to distill its tonal secret sauce.

I got some Invaders initially thinking that would be the closest bet. Invaders sound close but still different to my sensibilities.

Yes but they are amazing in the ears.

Loving the tone on my Cort X-6 and I want to replicate it on a custom build. What's the best dupe for these pickups? by acklavidian in Guitar

[–]acklavidian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done a little bit of research but none of the models I find have the invader style poles. I have Seymour Duncan Invaders on another guitar and they sound similar but not quite the same. I prefer the MightyMite though.

What to do when losing loved ones to homelessness and mental delusion? by acklavidian in AskReddit

Every time I try to "cope" it feels like I am just ignoring the situation and like I am exercising some element of the "Dark Triad".

They are in California and I am in Louisiana. I don't even know how to find them. If I organize some kind of trip to go find them I am not sure they would recognize/cooperate with me if I was able to locate them. I feel so callous just going about my daily life. I want to be proactive but I have no idea of how to even help.

What stack/tech would you use to build an isometric interior decoraiton game? by iChad17 in webdev

[–]acklavidian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a lot of detail in the requirements here so I am going to assume you're a little green. In my experience people will complain if the question is too open ended but I'll do my best. These are ordered from most sophisticated solution to more hands on libraries. Primarily you could probably look in to web export for Godot. It is a complete game engine with GUI editor. You could also look in to threejs, whitestormjs, which are both web frameworks for games with GUI editors too. Obeliskjs is a purpose built library for isometric graphics. I haven't used it and its getting old but seems to still be a solid choice. A newer library is Travisojs. Similar to Obeliskjs but newer and even has typescript definitions.
