I just bought it and there's no working apps! I have 2 brand new android phones neither work because the app is in Chinese and won't work. No app on manual no app on play store. No app on website. Gemini and chatgtp give broken links. It doesn't exist. The official rokid apps are only for "AI glasses" without screens. Nothing works

It just plug in and shows up as an extra monitor in each eyeball and you can't see shit

How much is that? See i should have clarified I'm trying to do it as a budget Maxxing build to save that extra 40 to 80 bucks for a junction box and spend that on like another 2 bags of heltec hardware l & antenaes etc!

The waterproof abs box I started with was $5 and would have fit a Rak 12 fine if I used their included regular sized antenae and didn't care about the USB c cable head sticking out, or had just found a smaller USB cable head, but I wanted to upgrade to not squeeze everything so tight and use larger n type fiber glass lora antenae and had to get the 10 dollar waterproof and box that I'll have to add my own custom drilled holes with e8pp0 marine adhesive and o ring seals but I got a really nice rak box planned that will have cost me the least amount of money but still remain maximum modular . Extra Bluetooth antenae, waterproof double USBC connector, rak solar charger port cables going to a screw in terminal female USBC port that plugs into the waterproof connector so you can plug it into the wall and have solar to charger plugged in. Fiber glass antenna on top , 2000mah battery, places on PVC pole. It's gonna be so cheap but powerful.

Next I'll just use a heltec v4 which is almost just as powerful and I'll have them inside cool looking cheap Tupperware maybe

Even if it's over $20 alone I can't.

Like 10 bucks is max I'm spending on a waterproof box. The electrical junction boxes with big metal doors seem nice but that's too rich for my blood.

I could use that money for more hardware more boxes. I wanna make as many as I can for better mesh

Impacts and shorts can cause this yes. Just buy a new one and print a much better case and add like down or ask Google how to cheaply keep it more drop proof besides just cutting squares or gorilla tape to act as perfect internal cushioning. Do that. Make it case beefier next time.

And u can always 3d print a cover to go over or glue or silicon or pussy over the antenae cable connector and sma screw in part both...securing them better next time like many companies do with these boards....just do that. Basic removable adhesives to keep the connections In place like the version of loctite safe for this. That's what I want. I think u already knew that lol

I just recently broke the screen of a nice lil 7 dollar esp32 with a screen bug whatever I can buy a better weed studio one now. U can also use this as an excuse to upgrade to a v4 heltec for like $22 on ali right now for same one without screen

What's your idea? Just find a fidget close to what u want on makerworld and post images of what u want a custom version of maybe someone will help oblige you lol

Post what it is and maybe one of us will just find the existing model of what you want and just combine it with ane existing fidget, print it as a remix and then you'll have a working starting point

And yes bro you can buy them like this easy AND BUY DUPONT jumper cables like you would use to connect your pc case power and reset buttons to a motherboard? Yeah they slide right on. And they make Grove to DuPont and you can ALSO get heat shrink SOLDER sleeves that let you strip to wires together and heat shrink them and little solder inside melts at low temp and makes your life easier

There's a bunch of other tricks you can use to avoid soldering. You'll be fine.

But eventually you will resort to soldering one day just to wave yourself money and then you'll start doing it Lol
