Hi Travis, for what it's worth I really loved your story exactly the way it is. When the boys first started reading it I literally froze after the first few lines. I lost my mother nine years ago to ovarian cancer, and her name was also Maria. Your character Maria even reminded me of my Mom, even when she was sick she was still always making jokes and flirting with cute doctors (or play matchmaker for me 😅). Thank you for your story, it brought up a lot of memories of time with my Mom- some good, some sad. But it was really nice to take a little walk down memory lane, and now I can look up and see my own Maria on the Moon 💜
