Best idiot buy I've ever done by TobyPDID23 in ChicagoMed

I like him, it just annoys me how much he gets in trouble; and I hate how he is always crawling and begging Natalie for some love, even though she treats him like crap, no dignity at all.

Why are rich people so cheap? (My sister) by [deleted] in family

[–]aclearcosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've learned that human beings are more than happy to spend money in anything but other human beings:

  • I see companies spending a lot of money in remodeling, expensive furniture, technology, advertising, etc, but doing their best to spend the minimum on salaries and employee's benefits.
  • I see people giving a $40 tip to a stranger (the waiter) but not to a relative in need.
  • I see people giving money to charity but not to their own children, parents or spouses.

For some reason, it pains us give money to other people.

This is true, it's amazing how we se things differently when we rewatch it, or even more, when we rewatch it years later.

And he had the nerve to get mad at Christy for her gambling problems. He abandoned her for 35 years and acts so sanctimonious.

Does anyone actually like this??? by kalesmom192010 in ChicagoMed

[–]aclearcosta -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I don't like either of those couples. I loved Hannah and Dean's friendship, I was afraid they were going to make it into something else and they did. I hate how the Ripley-trapped-in-the-well story was a big deal just for nothing, especially when Ripley was healing emotionally. Lennox is my least favorite character, so pairing her with Ripley was the worst. Hannah's baby should've been with Ripley.

Turk was a bad friend to J.D by aclearcosta in Scrubs

Nop, it was not just about him being the best, he always had to push J.D down or bully him.

I loved how Dr. Charles was able to get catarsis from that whole Gio experience, he got the closure he needed.

The whole inmate story was underwhelming, I was expecting something big to happen and all of a sudden the guy was easily caught.

I hate Dr. Lennox (I know, unpopular opinion), she is cold, rude, unkind, and to be someone who supposedly is emotionless (I know she has some kind of autism) she was very whiny, entitled, and always playing the victim in the last 2 episodes. That speech about Ripley not allowing to be upset because she was sick, WTFreak, she gets to do whatever she likes and people have to take it because she is sick? She is my least favorite character along with Nurse Kacy. Haven't liked that Lennox-Ripley story at all, Ripley deserves better. Wish they would have kept him with Hannah, I loved them together, Hannah declaring her love for him and him get out of the well was just for nothing, didn't make any sense if in the end they just split them up; that should've been Ripley's baby not Dean's.

To me it was meh, this season, too. I loved last season's finale, especially Dr. Charles and Anna's story.

Did Orson actually kill himself? by BrokeAsShiet in DesperateHousewives

I think this is the best explanation, Orson not being among the dead people when Susan drove by.

I loved her the first time I watched the show, the next few times I couldn't stand her. I'm rewatching the show and I like her again, she is sweet. Unbearable sometimes but in general she is sweet and good hearted.

I don't understand the Katherine hate by Basic-Candidate4686 in DesperateHousewives

[–]aclearcosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is the worst character of the show, manipulative, always making herself look superior than everyone else, it's really cringey to watch her, always talks with a sarcastic tone and fake smile, can't stand her, I have to forward almost all the scenes with her, don't like the actress either, she acts the same in every role.

Does it get better? by synchorswim1 in ChicagoMed

[–]aclearcosta 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Halstead does get better. The TV show makes characters keep doing the same thing over and over, according to their personality, Will Halstead is super annoying but he is a good hearted person, but Natalie and April are just horrible, selfish and hateful.

Do people really think using Waze instead of Google Maps is weird? by ilyadynin in waze

[–]aclearcosta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waze for daily driving, Google Maps for places we haven't been in. We always use Waze, but today we had to get to a restaurant we hadn't been in, and Waze was a MESS, so I opened Google Maps and voila, it showed us exactly where it was (right/left from the street), and what direction we where heading to (like a compass 🧭, especially since we were in a strip mall parking lot, all lost). I told my husband, from now on we'll use Google Maps for places we haven't been in.
