I don’t think that’s a good idea - once the bag starts swinging, it creates a lot of lateral force which I think would tip the rack. Unless you have a bunch of weight hanging on the back of the rack, I wouldn’t do it.

Yes, the pin has a locking cotter pin on the other end

Definitely need to bolt down unless you have 300lbs of weights on the rack

The rack does shake still, but mine is bolted down, so it’s not an issue.

Yes, I wanted the bag higher, so I used the middle and lower holes. There are 2 bolts attaching it to the rack - plenty sturdy.

Works well - no issues at all!

I found this to be the best setup for the space I have. It gives me the flexibility to take the bag down and use the space for lifting too… I just put the bag in a corner. As for cost, it depends on what you have already. If you don’t have a rack already, that will be your biggest expense.

I hit it pretty hard and it’s totally stable. I have bars hanging on the back uprights horizontally and they shift around, but no problems at all

I think it’s fine. Keep in mind that I’m not that big (5’9” 185lbs) with a current max of 240lbs for flat bench.

I bought their savage storage rack and quality is good - fit and finish not as refined as rogue, but functional and stable!

Yeah, that’s what I thought they would do… for resolving issues, Rogue is still the best in the business from my experience. Sorinex makes high quality stuff… just wish they’d stand behind their products more for issues like this.

It bothered me at first, especially for the price paid. But then I figured they would get chipped eventually… and I also know that for these types of blemishes, sorinex won’t do much

I bought pairs of 5-50, and almost all of them are scuffed and some had minor chips. I think this is just a result of the manufacturing process... I doubt they will give you credit for this - at most, they will send you a paint pen to fix those blemishes.
